The Blessing
Luke 9:16 “Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them.”
To multiply, the first thing Jesus teaches us from the example in Luke 9:12-17 is to organize. The second thing we see from this scripture is it has to be blessed before it can multiply. Extra, Extra
Gen.24:19 “When she had given him a drink, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels, too, until they have had enough to drink.” 25 “Yes, we have plenty of straw and feed for the camels, and we have room for guests.”
People who excel do more and people who excel, they do more. In Genesis 24, Abraham sent his oldest servant to help pick out a wife for Isaac. So, he prayed and stepped out in faith. In Pursuit
Mal. 3:10 “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies…” [with emphasis]
We are totally grateful to God for technological advancements that have now made it possible for many to conveniently do their giving online. And there is nothing wrong with paying tithes or offerings online. However, God expects us to come.
Think Trans-generational
Heb.7:10 “For although Levi wasn’t born yet, the seed from which he came was Abraham’s body when Melchizedek collected the tithe from him.”
In Abraham, Levi paid tithe. Levi is about fourth generations from Abraham. A lot of people reading this today are first generation Christians. You are laboring but you are not seeing as much result. Keep on laboring; do not get tired because your children, your grandchildren, your children yet unborn, will see the result. In Abraham, Levi paid tithe. There are seeds you will sow today that the harvest will keep pouring in for generations. Unfortunately, a lot of people are too myopic. God is trans-generational.

The second way to provoke God’s favour and make heaven decide on your behalf is by Pleasing God. You can provoke favour by pleasing God. Pleasing God unlocks God’s favour. Principle Of Honor
“You must present one-tenth of the tithe received from the Israelites as a sacred offering to the Lord. This is the Lord’s sacred portion, and you must present it to Aaron the priest” Num.18:28 [emphasis added]
At one of our vigils, worship was really intense and beautiful, and I felt the Lord say that people owe Him tithe and He wanted to forgive them. I have never heard that before. We were taught that if you owe God tithe, you will pay back with twenty-five percent interest. Have you heard that before? But the Holy Spirit said He wants to wipe it off. Holy Spirit can mess up your theology. He is God and He reserves the right to do as He pleases.

All of us must desire understanding when it comes to spiritual things. Spiritual things are not like a switch but rather spiritual things are more like an electric oven; it takes time to heat up when you plug it.
