Gen.26: 12 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. 13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great” [KJV]
There is a seed for every need. If you want to be anointed, there is a seed. Pay the price and get anointed; heaven is not a respecter of persons. The problem is a lot of people are not willing to pay the price. While there is a seed for every need, there are also certain seeds that you do not sow. For instance, if you want a good relationship there are certain seeds you do not sow. Prov.16:28 “A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends”. The Workings I
Eccl.11:1 “Don’t be afraid to release your bread upon the waters, for in due time you will find it…4 Those who watch and wait for favorable winds never plant, and those who watch and fret over every cloud never harvest” [Voice].
Years ago I was on a project for a year and a half and I was tired of the project. I wanted to go back to Lagos. So I got the permission to go back. Then I realized that while I was working on the project, I had a free house, car with a driver attached but back home, I did not have a car. So I had a pressing need. I needed a miracle. Bedrock
Ps.103:7 “He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” [KJV]
It is beautiful to walk with God, understanding His ordinances as it flows from His heart. Right seed + the right soil + the right condition = Abundant harvest. This ordinance is so powerful and so important. It may look simple but believe me if you work this, you will never be stranded. I have worked this ordinance for over twenty years and counting. What is Important?
1 Cor.3:7 “It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow” [with emphasis]
To know the ways of God you need to know His formula [that is His ordinances and His heart]. “It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow”. And guess what? This God loves you and He wants you to have abundant harvest. But He does not want you to ever forget that He, God is the one that brings the harvest. The Voice Translation of 1 Cor.3:7 reads, “So the ones who water and plant have nothing to brag about. God, who causes the growth, is the only One who matters.”
The Application
2 Kings 3:15 “Now bring me someone who can play the harp.” While the harp was being played, the power of the Lord came upon Elisha, 16 and he said, “This is what the Lord says: This dry valley will be filled with pools of water!”
Elisha had the right seed, the right Word in his heart. He had the right soil but he did not have the right conditions and so he could not prophesy and miracles could not happen. Elisha understood this principle so he requested for a minstrel. Read the rest of this entry
God’s Principles
1 Cor.3:6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” [KJV]
The Right Seed + the Right Soil + the Right Conditions = Abundant Harvest. I am teaching you a principle, a principle that has worked in my life. Again, let me emphasize that it is God that brings the increase so do not get what I am about to say next wrong. I can almost work this formula at will. When people do not know the ways of God, they will think the increase is by chance. When you know the ways of God you can reproduce it.
Rs + Rs + Rc = AH!
1 Cor.3:6 “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow” [with emphasis].
Yesterday we highlighted the three glaring components of an abundant harvest from 1 Corinthians 3:6. The first is the seed [I planted]; there can be no harvest without a seed. The second is the soil [in your hearts]; the seed must have good soil. And number three is the right condition [Apollos watered]. So the formula for abundant harvest is this – the Right Seed + the Right Soil + the Right Conditions = Abundant Harvest. So in whatever area you want an abundant harvest [spiritual growth, finances, marital harmony, career, or souls], it is the same formula.
The Formula
1 Cor.3:7 “It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.”
You and I must make it our priority to connect to the heart of our Father and not just focus on getting results alone. The truth is that the formula will deliver results and that is unquestionable. But the question is, is that proceeding from the heart of the Father? So if you are just about the formula, you will get results. But it is for this same reason a lot of “tongue-talking” people are going to hell. People are actually using their spiritual armory to perform witchcraft and it has nothing to do with God. Some Christians are praying for other Christians to fall down and die. Do you think their Father, our Father will be happy? Is that proceeding from His heart? Let pleasing the heart of the Father be your goal at all times.
The Son’s Heart
Matt.6:10 “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” [KJV]
Every Son knows the ordinance of His Father [the ways of the Father]. Remember when Jesus was tempted in the wilderness and satan said to Him, “If you are the Son of God [you know the ordinance of heaven], turn these stones into bread”. But Jesus said, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word…” What Jesus was saying in essence is, “Even though there is a formula to turn stones into bread, it is not the heart of the Father for Me to turn stones into bread”. I hope you get this.
