Come Boldly

Isa.1:18 “Come on now, let’s walk and talk; let’s work this out…” (Voice, emphasis added)

The Book of Psalms is filled with David confronting God. David would go to God and say, ‘God, we need to talk’. When you confront God, your destiny changes. And like we see in today’s anchor scripture, God actually invites us to come and confront Him, to come and work things out. Read the rest of this entry

Accept Not Reject

Psalm 20:3 “May he accept all your offerings and be pleased with all your sacrifices.” (GNT)

I have shared this testimony several times but it is really instructive, so I will share it again. I look at some people and I am amazed at the kind of steps they take. A certain woman had three children, male and female, yet she came to meet me,  that she needed a miracle and wanted us to pray. Read the rest of this entry

Rom.8:33 “Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.”

Nights are tough times and usually night situations are very challenging situations. Acts 16:22-24A mob quickly formed against Paul and Silas, and the city officials ordered them stripped and beaten with wooden rods. They were severely beaten, and then they were thrown into prison. The jailer was ordered to make sure they didn’t escape. So, the jailer put them into the inner dungeon and clamped their feet in the stocks.” Read the rest of this entry

The Jew?

John 19:14 “It was now about noon on the day of preparation for the Passover. And Pilate said to the people, “Look, here is your king!”

Today’s scripture reference is another prophetic occurrence. Jesus Himself was the Passover Lamb and they crucified [sacrificed] Him on the Friday before the sabbath of the Passover week. Hugely prophetic. Read the rest of this entry

Peace of Rome?

John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

The Roman kingdom under Caesar claimed that they were fair, and they were for peace. They even had the edict called “Pax Romana” which means “the Peace of Rome” and it is supposed to be built on justice. But the hypocrisy of the Roman system is exposed in Read the rest of this entry

The Other Disciple

Eccl.4:9-10 “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.”

John 18:17The woman said to Peter, “You are not also one of this man’s disciples, are you?” He said, “I am not.” When the woman said, “also”, it means there was someone they knew was Jesus’ disciple, right? They knew John was Jesus’ disciple and John was present as an acknowledged follower of Jesus, Read the rest of this entry

Nothing!

Rom. 8:35&39 “Can anything separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble, suffering, and hard times, or hunger and nakedness, or danger and death?… and not powers above or powers below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God’s love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord! (CEV]

John 9:30-34The man answered, “Here is an astonishing thing! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but he does listen to one who worships him and obeys his will. Never since the world began has it been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind. If this man were not from God, he could do nothing. They answered him, “You were born entirely in sins, and are you trying to teach us?” And they drove him out.” (NRSV]. Read the rest of this entry

Eyewitness

John 9:11 “He told them, “The man they call Jesus made mud and spread it over my eyes and told me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash yourself.’ So I went and washed, and now I can see!”

When they asked this man who healed him, even though he had never seen before in his life and Jesus might have been standing beside him. He had never seen Jesus, so he did not know what Jesus looked like, but he had learned Jesus’ name. Read the rest of this entry

What Source?

1 Cor. 12:3 “Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” (NKJV]

Jesus reveals two things we must know about the devil to us in John 8:44He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. The devil is a liar and a murderer. The devil is a liar, so whatever he is telling you is a lie. Premise, Promise

John 8:32 “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Has there been a time when all you thought you knew about life or a particular subject was shredded by the truth? Maybe you thought you were clear on a subject, then you encountered truth and realized that you did not know anything. That feeling or such experiences are actually a prerequisite for growth Read the rest of this entry
