Look & Learn

Philippians 3:13 “…but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.”

The light forward response to guilt is to Learn From The Past, without the past discouraging you from taking hold of your preferred future. One of the biggest things you can do for yourself is to learn from the past. Different people approach the past in different ways. Read the rest of this entry

His Praise

Ps.104:31 “May the glory of the Lord continue forever! The Lord takes pleasure in all he has made!”

What price are you willing to pay so that you can live like few will? One of my colleagues said, ‘Your neck is growing thinner and thinner, what is going on?’ I said, ‘We are fasting’ and the look on her face was, is it not the same fast all of us are doing? The key thing is, the price you are willing to embrace, the sacrifice you are willing to embrace is what will separate you from the pack. God is taking you on an uncommon path because of the uncommon dream that He has for you. You have to embrace your path; you have to embrace your own story. It is not according to the books, but it is your story, and it is for God’s glory.

God’s dream for you is a good dream and it is a journey of uncommon paths. And on this journey, we encounter things like the prison and other things that we perceive as torment. But could it be that God wants to use the things that torment us to mentor us? Read the rest of this entry

In Harmony

Prov.21:31 “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.” (emphasis added).

Father in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we ask that You breathe upon us. Open our eyes to see as we ought to see, challenge us, and stretch us beyond our faith in Jesus Mighty Name. Prov.21:31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.” (ESV, emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

Caution!

Psalm 105:14-16 “Yet he did not let anyone oppress them. He warned kings on their behalf: “Do not touch my chosen people, and do not hurt my prophets.” He called for a famine on the land of Canaan, cutting off its food supply.”

There are some people you should not fight; do not fight God’s children. The Gibeonites were a strong force and they submitted to the Jews. So the king of Jerusalem was threatened by that move. So he called the five Amorite kings and said, let us destroy the Gibeonites and take the Jews. Read the rest of this entry

Secrets, II

Luke 3:21 “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened” (KJV, emphasis added)

These things I am teaching you, by the grace of God, I did not read it in any book. I did not learn it from anyone. God sat me down and explained principles and laws to me. However, it is possible for God to tell different things to different people at different times and He is still God. Read the rest of this entry

Secrets, I

Deut.28:8-9 “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. “If you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in his ways, the Lord will establish you…” (NRSV)

The first key to unlock the heavens is You Must Pray. You have to understand that the supernatural only responds when the people of God take their place in prayer. You have to pray. Prayer connects earth to heaven. Read the rest of this entry

Prized Possession

Isa. 49:15-16 “Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins.”

I am confident that the God of heaven, The One that can open, and no one can shut, will open the heavens over your life in the Name of Jesus. It is important for you to say ‘Amen’ because this is like a spiritual transaction. God will do His part, but you have to do your part. Read the rest of this entry

The One

Daniel 4:34 “After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honoured the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.”

King Nebuchadnezzar is an example of someone who forgot that God was his source and began to look to ‘Nile’. God had prospered him and given him multiple victories and conquests. God in His mercy had previously warned Nebuchadnezzar in a dream, but time passed, and nothing happened. Read the rest of this entry

For You

Isaiah 43:4 “You are precious to me, and I have given you a special place of honour. I love you. That’s why I am willing to trade others, to give up whole nations, to save your life.” (ERV)

Mark 8:22-26When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him. Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see anything now?” The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.” Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly. Jesus sent him away, saying, “Don’t go back into the village on your way home.” Read the rest of this entry

His Flow

Mark 8:26 “And He sent him away to his house, telling [him], Do not [even] enter the village or tell anyone there.” (AMPC)

For some of us, Bethsaida represents a place where people will not believe in you. Sometimes these people are your relatives or your childhood friends. Bethsaida represents a place where you are commonized and you cannot achieve your potential. Read the rest of this entry
