Purposeful Engagement

Luke 10:18-19 (NKJV) And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Combat or fighting is defined as a purposeful violent conflict meant to weaken, establish dominance over, or destroy the opposition, Read the rest of this entry

Divine Backing

Matt.18:20 (NIV) “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Laying on of hands releases supernatural assistance. Having supernatural assistance can be likened to this: if your enemies have guns and all you have in the physical is a knife, when you have supernatural assistance, submachine guns would be arrayed behind you facing your enemy. Basic Teaching

Matt.18:20 (NIV) “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

The church is a spiritual place. In the gathering of God’s people, a lot of spiritual activity goes on. Destinies are rearranged for good; defences are set up and it is important

The Key

Isa. 53:“But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

You will nail every sickness that is still lingering in your body to The Cross of Jesus, in this season, in Jesus Name. Isa.53:6All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.Read the rest of this entry

Give Up!

Isa.40:30 “Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

You just have to wait on the Lord. The word “wait” in today’s Scripture reference is a complex word and it means to hope, to trust, to be entangled with, a sense of dependence on God. Waiting on God can include fasting but it is beyond fasting. Read the rest of this entry

Time & Effort

2 Kings 17:36 But worship only the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt with great strength and a powerful arm. Bow down to him alone, and offer sacrifices only to him.

Ps. 147:11 [ERV] The Lord enjoys people who worship him and trust in his faithful love.” God wants you to worship Him in spirit and in truth. He wants you to release your spirit, your soul, and your body to Him. Read the rest of this entry

For His Glory

Ex.23:30 [Voice] “Rather, I will drive them out a little at a time—a few here, a few there—until your numbers grow and you are strong enough to take over the land and its care.”

Your growth is linked to your destiny. If you do not grow, if you do not increase in capacity, you cannot fulfill your destiny. Even though God was fighting for the nation of Israel, He still did not drive out all their enemies at once. Read the rest of this entry

Special Ability II

Acts 2:11 “…ALL OF US hear them speaking in our own languages about the great things that God has done!” [TEV, with emphasis]

Today’s Scripture reference has two major implications for us. The first is that God has put you in your church family to reach someone no one else can reach. Read the rest of this entry

Greater Still

Jn.14:12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.”

Jesus is saying you will do greater works than Him and it is to the glory of the Father and to the praise and glory of Jesus. Phillip did greater works in Samaria than Jesus. When Jesus went to Samaria, no cripple walked, no lame got up, everybody that had demons still went back with their demons and it was Jesus that was with them. There are labors that you are making now that your children will reap the harvest; so keep your focus. No work for God is ever lost! The work of God is trans-generational.

Watch Out!

Luke 1:29 Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean. 30 “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus”

The second fear that is able to hinder us from being used by God is the fear of missing out. Mary was a young girl and she definitely was not ready to be a single mother because Joseph could easily have cut ties with her. Imagine you are dating a girl and she informs you that she is pregnant. Meanwhile, both of you had previously agreed to keep yourselves holy. Then she shows up with the news of pregnancy. Any man would be broken hearted because he knows the process that leads to pregnancy.
