Passionate Plea
Daniel 9:2-3 “I found out from studying the writings of the prophets that the Lord had said to Jeremiah, “Jerusalem will lie in ruins for 70 years.” Then, to show my sorrow… I confessed my sins and earnestly prayed to the Lord my God” (CEV)
I have told you several stories of how I saw things that totally changed my life in the scriptures. and till today they still are that powerful. So, what did Daniel read in the book of Jeremiah? This is so beautiful. Contained in Jeremiah’s ‘bestselling book’ , Jeremiah 29:10-12 “This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.” (emphasis added). Christ’s Body
Isaiah 43:2 “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you” (emphasis added).
This is God’s promise to you. Do you receive it today? No matter what you go through, you must always remember that God is with you. God is emphasizing remembering this season because we forget very easily. I have seen a lot of Christians forget that God is with them. Read the rest of this entry
Never Forget
Isaiah 49:15 “…Is it possible for a mother, however disappointed, however hurt, to forget her nursing child? Can she feel nothing for the baby she carried and birthed? Even if she could, I, God, will never forget you.” (Voice)
We are on number two out of the four things that we must remember to keep us strong. Four things that we must remember to empower us to arise and be all that God has called us to be as we represent God in the ways that He has called us to represent Him. The value of an item is determined by the amount someone is willing to pay for it, right? The value of your car is determined by the amount somebody is willing to pay for it.
