Seek Clarity

Dan.2:47 “The king said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is the greatest of gods, the Lord over kings, a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this secret.”

What is God saying? This should be the paramount pursuit of every believer when it comes to the supernatural in general and dreams. For instance, some people have come up with a symbolic mapping for symbolic representations in dreams. Read the rest of this entry

Secret Things

Dan.2:27 “Daniel replied, “There are no wise men, enchanters, magicians, or fortune-tellers who can reveal the king’s secret. 28 But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the future…”

We will be delving deeper in our discourse on the supernatural and the capacity of the Christian to tap into the supernatural, and make it work. Sometimes we find ourselves in places where the repercussion is corporate. Read the rest of this entry

Unseen Reality

John 3:8 “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” [NIV]

If your Christianity is all about what you can see, then there is not much to be desired even from the world. The difference between the church and social clubs is the power of the Holy Spirit, it is the supernatural. Read the rest of this entry

Right Judgment

2 kings 6:11 “The king of Aram… demanded, “Which of you is the traitor? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans?” 12 “It’s not us, my lord the king,” one of the officers replied. “Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom!”

The Call

Dan.3:17 “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. 18 But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

God’s Favourite House is not a Baptist church, or an Anglican church, or a Catholic church, or even a Pentecostal church. God’s Favourite House is a church of Jesus Christ. We believe in baptism, we believe in the order of Read the rest of this entry

The Stand

Eph.6:10 “…be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might… 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth…”

There is so much to learn from the Book and the person of Daniel, particularly in times like this. Things are challenging for the world; however, we are certain that it does not take God by surprise. According to Read the rest of this entry

Your Identity

1 Peter 2:But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

What names do you feel pressured by culture to accept or what names do you see people accepting from culture? I had a nickname when I was in secondary school. My friends had appended the word “scorpio” to my Read the rest of this entry

Spirit Within

Dan.5:14 “I have heard that you have the spirit of the gods within you and that you are filled with insight, understanding, and wisdom.”

Daniel did not have any form of accountability or supervision. He was away from home, meaning he had the freedom to live anyhow he wanted to. How did Daniel get it right in spite of all this? In scriptures, we see Daniel survive Read the rest of this entry

Praise Worthy!

2 Chr.20:22 At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves.

In addition to the deadly punch of obedience, gratitude, the victory combo, the power of the Holy Spirit, the spoken Word, we have the high praises of God. The high praises of God are the praises of God that you elevate and Read the rest of this entry
