Unlikely Rescue

Isa.46:3 “Listen to me, …I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. 4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”

The Gift

Luke 2:10 “but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. 11 The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!”

Jesus is saying to us this morning, if you want to give Me a gift, find someone that cannot pay you back and give the person a gift. Visit the hospitals and go to the prisons, let that be your birthday gift to Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Uncommon

Isa.55:8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”

When I first gave my life to Christ, I would pray about something, but I would not stop at praying alone. I would also give God several options and methods He can use to execute my request. Read the rest of this entry

Jesus Is Lord!

Matt.1:20 “As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.”

Prophecy Personified

Isa.9:6 [KJV] “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
