The Ten II

First Principle

Prov.3:9-10 (TLB) “Honour the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income, and he will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with the finest wines”[with emphasis].

 

The first word in today’s Scripture reference is honour and it is a pointer to where everything should flow from. Isa.43:4 (VOICE)Because you are special to Me and I love you, I gladly give up other peoples in exchange for you; They are trivial by comparison to your weighty significance.

 

A young man was really excited of the new Lexus twin-engine car he just purchased. The car is so fantastic that when one engine shuts down, the second engine just picks up. So, he took his father for a ride in the car just to show him how fantastic the car was. Read the rest of this entry

The third step to take in dealing with difficult people is Refuse To Argue. This can be tough particularly if you have superior information but just refuse to argue. Matt.22:15 & 18 (GN) “The Pharisees went off and made a plan to trap Jesus with questions… Jesus was aware of their intent… so he said, `Why are you trying to trap me?” [with emphasis]. Love Story

Jn.15:13 “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

 

It is truly unfortunate that a lot of people measure God’s love for them by what they have and what they do not have. A lot of people measure God’s love for them by what has happened to them or what has not happened to them. Read the rest of this entry

Why?

Jn.15:13 “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

 

Knowing “Why” is very important. We must never forget or overlook “why”. Usually the difference between the Christian that will go the distance and the one that will drop off, is one person knows “why” and the other person has forgotten “why”. Read the rest of this entry

Witness

Love So Amazing!

John 10:17 “Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

 

“It is finished!” Jesus said and He took the key to death and hell from satan and bruised his head. He was taking the Blood, the atoning sacrifice to the altar in heaven and he was leading captivity captive. This was the most crucial part of the assignment. Read the rest of this entry

Game Changer

Ps.24:9 “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory.”
