Plugged

Philip.4:13 (Ph) “I’m ready for anything through the strength of Christ who lives in me.”

Are you living without power? Or are you just carrying on without considering that you are running on battery power? Or are you one of those whose cable is actually plugged into the source, Read the rest of this entry

The Genesis

Rev.21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” 5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” …Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

If you would be honest with yourself, you will agree that God has given you a lot of ground in your past. There is a lot of gain in your past, Read the rest of this entry

Get Light

Matt.11:29 (NKJV) “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Having a culture of gratitude is really powerful; in our personal lives, in our families. In the God’s Favourite House church family, having a culture of gratitude is very deliberate. Read the rest of this entry

The Way

Heb.12:2 “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne” [with emphasis].

Do you want to sit in the place of honour God has for you and your destiny? If your answer is yes, then you must keep your eyes on the joy while you go through the pain. It is not about the pain, it is about the joy. Read the rest of this entry

Begins At Home

John 14:15 “If you love me, obey my commandments.”

The deepest question every Christian will have to answer is “me or Jesus?” Is it going to be my way or is it going to be His ways? Is it going to be my idea or is it going to be His ideas? The Ten Commandments is a blow out of the struggle between “me or Jesus?”

Block III

Prov. 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.

We have seen how pride and fear can result in a closed mind. A hardened heart is barren!  Nothing can grow there.

#3. The third mental block is Bitterness. A lot of people are struggling with questions such as: Why did God allow this to happen to me? If God really loves me, how come abcd Read the rest of this entry

What Will It Be?

When Elisha was in his last illness, King Jehoash of Israel visited him and wept over him. “My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Israel!” he cried2kings 13:14.

The pain of every leader is to look back and not find anyone following. The pain of every leader is to look back and not find anyone willing to pay the price necessary for leadership. This was a pain that Elisha was familiar with. He looked back at his life and the only son of the prophet that came close was Gehazi. Gehazi had the opportunity to collect a double Read the rest of this entry

You Will Prevail!

“The Lord is with me, so I will not be afraid. No one on earth can do anything to harm me. The Lord is my helper. I will see my enemies defeated” Ps.118:6-7 [ERV]

Take responsibility for your life. What happens when we raise a generation that is not strong because they are not accustomed to pain? I have not proven it but I can tell you the greater you are as a person or as a leader is directly proportional to your capacity for pain. The greater you become as a leader is directly proportional for your Read the rest of this entry

Take Responsibility

Train up your child in the way he should go: and when he old, he will not depart from it” Prov.22:6 [KJV, emphasis added]

Your children are smarter than you think. It is unwise to over protect them or shield them from pain. Think about your own life and growing up. Did you become who you are today because your parents shielded you from pain? Absolutely not, but by interacting with pain, you learnt to rise above it. Parents today are shielding their Read the rest of this entry
