Joy & Peace

Gal. 5:22-23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”

The joy that overflows, is a component of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. I was reading the work of a renowned theologian Thomas Aquinas, and he said something very profound. He says, “God is happiness by His Essence: for He is happy not by acquisition or participation of something else, but by His Essence. On the other hand, men are happy by acquisition or participation.” Read the rest of this entry

True Protection

Ecc.4:12 “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”

A peaceful life is an uncommon life. A prosperous life is an uncommon life. A protected life is an uncommon life. People are desperate for protection. They are seeking financial protection, Read the rest of this entry

The Shift

Jer.29:7 “And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” (emphasis added)

Peace & Prosperity

Ps.46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honoured by every nation. I will be honoured throughout the world” (emphasis added).

Get Wisdom

Philip4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

What Matters

Heb. 11:10 For he was [waiting expectantly and confidently] looking forward to the city which has fixed and firm foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God.” (AMPC)

Acts 1:So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him, “Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?” He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere…”. Jesus had demonstrated His power, Read the rest of this entry

Show Compassion

James 2:15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “…stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? 17…faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead…”

Sometimes people get too distracted with the inconveniences around them to remember to show compassion.

Spirit Controlled!

Gal.5: 22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
