Guarantee

Num. 23:19 (GW) “God is not like people.  He doesn’t change His mind. When He says something, He does it. When He makes a promise, He keeps it.

The first thing that the resurrection of Jesus teaches us is that God is in control. The second thing is that God keeps His promises. God had promised from the garden of Eden that He will send a Son, Read the rest of this entry

Exempt

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Please read Mark 5:21-42. If you look at the situation of this woman, she had a limitation for twelve years. She went from one doctor to another until she realized that doctors could not help her. Read the rest of this entry

The Passion III

1 John 1:1 “We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.”

A truly intellectual faith will set your soul on fire. I can say this boldly because that was my experience. So far, the question, did Jesus really exist had been answered. Read the rest of this entry

The Passion II

1 John 1:3 “We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.”

Submitted?

Job 23:14 “So he will do to me whatever he has planned. He controls my destiny.”

We have to submit to the process and let God expunge Egypt out of us. I have seen where curses are actually broken but the pattern of behaviour continued. Read the rest of this entry

This Love

John 20:16 “Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, “Rabboni!” (which is Hebrew for “Teacher”).

Through Death

Jn.12:24 “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels–a plentiful harvest of new lives.” [with emphasis].

It is so important that we understand that the way of the Father is the way of love that leads to life through sacrifice. God is saying the seed needs to die, not to be exterminated but to produce an abundant harvest. Read the rest of this entry

Love Story

Jn.15:13 “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

It is truly unfortunate that a lot of people measure God’s love for them by what they have and what they do not have. A lot of people measure God’s love for them by what has happened to them or what has not happened to them. Read the rest of this entry

Eye Witness I

Rev.12:11 (AMPC) “And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].”

Yesterday, we established that not many people would argue with the fact that Jesus actually walked on earth. We also answered the question about His resurrection based on scriptural witnesses. Read the rest of this entry

Witness

Acts 1:3 During the forty days after he suffered and died, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God.”

Phil.3:10 [NKJV] that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death”. Paul, James, Peter, Thaddeus and all the others had this same cry in their hearts. Read the rest of this entry
