Line Upon Line

“He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!” Isa.28:10

“He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!” If God, the Maker of the heavens and the earth takes time out to tell you everything over and over, don’t you think you need to pay attention to what He is saying? Little beginnings can be equated to the place of waiting perhaps for the next big thing or for the doors to open unto you. God has placed you close to married people so that He can birth a desire Read the rest of this entry

Take Note!

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” Prov.22:29 [KJV]

Using a dull axe requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeedEcc.10:10. You have been given the axe and the wood, however succeeding at the task of cutting the wood is tied to sharpening the blade of the axe. The success or failure of this task is the resultant effect of the decisions you make here after. Incompetence would mean knowing the blade needs to be sharpened but refusing to sharpen it or waiting Read the rest of this entry

Foundation Stone II

“‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward” Lu.19:17.

You cannot afford to be comfortable with mediocrity or with being mentally lazy. Study! I repeatedly hear people say is it because I bought this device that I have to go back to school? No, it is because you are who you are that is why you have to study the about the device. It is not about the device here, it is about your life. Foundation Stone I

Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” 2Tim.2:15

#1. STUDY. Be a master in your field. Master your field! If your field is make-up then be the best make-up artist there is. This is one of the things we were taught from when we were very young. If your job is to sweep then be the best in that field. If all you are doing is cleaning then make sure you are the best cleaner. Some people think they cannot invest in excellence until they become a CEO. No! Read the rest of this entry

Salvation vs. Success

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Josh.1:8 [emphasis added].

Salvation has nothing to do with new behavior but everything to do with new creation. Success on the other hand has everything to do with new behavior. Salvation has nothing to do with new behavior. One cannot say; if I read my Bible more then I will be saved. Wrong! Or if I meditate more then I will be saved. Wrong again! There is nothing like a ten things to do list to get saved. There is nothing you Read the rest of this entry

Levels Of Obedience I

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do” Josh.1:8 [emphasis added].

You have read in the Bible that we should study it, meditate on it, and just do it. Peter asked Jesus how many times does one forgive his brother in a single day and Jesus said seventy times seven in a single day. You have read it, meditated on it, just do it. Someone has offended you, the next thing you do is forgive. But rather you are saying no one understands, you need time… What do you need time Read the rest of this entry

Get This Going

“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do” Josh.1:8.

Yesterday, we began to share meditation strategies to help us get hands-on with meditating on God’s Word. And we said, take a scripture like John 3:16 and engage it by reciting it. What reciting does is it puts the Word on your lips. Then just ponder on that Word while you are repeating it. And while your mind is engaged and focused on that scripture, if you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, begin to pray in Read the rest of this entry
