Insist On It!

John 14:13-14 “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”

Can you stand to be blessed? Many of us are afraid to step into what God has for us. Caleb said, Bring-It-On! Bring on the promises of God. Can you stand the backbiting and the wave of jealousy? Josh.14:12 “So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me…” (emphasis added). Caleb stood and demanded that God’s promise to him be fulfilled. You need to stand and demand that God’s promise to you be fulfilled. In Joshua 14, we see that every other tribe of Israel got their portion of land through lot [divine lot]. But Caleb demanded for his own and this is a big deal – huge! What Caleb did is a big deal and I will explain. Read the rest of this entry

Bring-It-On!

Josh.21:45 Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.

Yesterday, we learned that Hebron is a place where we relate with people, not on the basis of what they do for us but, in recognition of God’s work in bringing us together. The place of Hebron is the place of the New-Streams. Yesterday, we concluded by saying we must trash the “me, myself, and I” mindset. The “I just want to pay school fees and pay rent” way of thinking. How can you just exist to pay school fees, pay rent, and die? Read the rest of this entry

Hebron

Joshua 14:12 “So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me…” (emphasis added)

You can be as strong as you are at eighty-five as you are at forty, do you receive that promise? Please read Joshua 14:6-12. When God has a promise for you, what will happen to that promise is up to you, you must decide really. God said to Caleb through Moses, “Hebron is yours – take it”. The word Hebron is from the Hebrew word spelled “Chevron” and it is derived from Hebrew words: “chevar “(meaning to unite, to join); “chever” (association), “chaver” (companion). Hebron was previously called Kiriath-arba. Arba is one of the descendants of the Amorites [the giants] and he was a great hero of the descendants of Anak [Joshua 14:15]. Read the rest of this entry

Flow with GOD

Num.13:30 (KJV) “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”

Bring It On! Let The Streams Flow, Let The Waters Flow But Bring It On! There was a time in the history of the nation of Israel that God told them to go and take possession of their Promised Land. The same land that had been promised four hundred and thirty years before then. God said, “Choose twelve spies and let them go and spy the land”. The purpose of the spying of the land was to show them that the land they were going into was a land that was actually flowing with milk and honey. Read the rest of this entry

Let go & Let GOD

Isa. 43:18-19 (NIV & Voice) “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert; Waters will flow where there had been none.”

We are grateful to God for the New-Streams that are bursting forth. Paul said to the Galatian Church in Gal.5:7 You were running the race so well. Who has held you back…?”. By God’s grace, we are determined that nothing will hold us back in Jesus Name. However, now that God has helped us identify the things that are capable of blocking the flow of our streams, we must be deliberate about taking them out. The beauty about our God, is that He did not only help us identify the problem, He also gave us the solution so that nothing blocks the flow of our New-Streams. Nothing will hold us back; we will continue to flow well in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry

By Blood

Lev.17:11 (NKJV) “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.”

When it comes to wrongs, the solution is the Blood of Jesus. The only antidote to your past wrongs and regrets is the Blood of the Lamb. The same way the brass serpent was lifted up [Numbers 21:9], anyone that looks unto Him shall be saved [John 3:14-15]. Jesus is the solution! If you keep carrying the regrets, you are not helping yourself. You need to let go of your wrongs. Sometimes, we need to forgive ourselves. We are willing to forgive other people, but we are tougher on ourselves. Read the rest of this entry

Even If

Luke 17:4 “Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”

Forgiveness is not foolishness. Forgiveness is to choose to let it go. Forgiveness is not for the weak. In fact, if you are not strong, you cannot forgive. It is only the strong that can forgive. Read the rest of this entry

Move on!

Ps. 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”

Ps. 37:8 (GW, emphasis added)Let go of anger, and leave your rage behind. Do not be preoccupied. It only leads to evil.” The reason some people are not serving in church today is that a Pastor [or minister] cut them deep. Read the rest of this entry

Let it go!

Ps. 37:8 (GW, emphasis added)Let go of anger, and leave your rage behind. Do not be preoccupied. It only leads to evil.”

The word resentment is from the root word ‘re-sentio’ and it means ‘to cut again’. So, when you repeat or rehearse the hurtful words to yourself, you are cutting yourself again. The person has said what he or she said, and they have moved on. But you are resenting them, you are rehearsing it, Read the rest of this entry

Let go!

Jer. 30:17 (NIV) “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord…”

Three main barriers can hinder the flow of New-Streams in our lives. The first one we looked at is worry. The second barrier we need to let go of is Wounds. Perhaps you have been lied to, or disappointed, or perhaps someone cheated you. Maybe it was even a brother [someone that you trusted] Read the rest of this entry
