Enough!

Isa.65:22 No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands” (NIV, with emphasis).

Any one that takes a position against God’s plan for your life will be crushed by the weight of God’s glory. You will not be naïve all the days of your life. There are implications to aligning with God and there are implications to being against God. Read the rest of this entry

Align With God

1 Sam.7:14 The Israelite villages near Ekron and Gath that the Philistines had captured were restored to Israel, along with the rest of the territory that the Philistines had taken. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites in those days.

Every ground you have lost would be restored to you. I am announcing this, and I am showing you from God’s Word that every ground would be restored to you in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry

Dominion

Matt.18:19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

The fourth benefit of deploying the power of “we” is Dominion. Eccl.4: 12 “Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken…” [with emphasis]. When we deploy the power of “we”, we are unstoppable. The truth is that we are not all in right standing, but when we come Read the rest of this entry

Provocative Maneuvers

Gen.22:16 “This is what the Lord says: Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that 17 I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore…” [with emphasis]

God has feelings, God can be blessed. David says, “Bless the Lord Oh my soul!” In our scripture reference today, God says because of what Abraham did, he provoked an uncommon response from God. Read the rest of this entry

Holy Place Not Hospital

Matt.6:33 (GNT) “Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things.”

God is not a vending machine. God cannot be used. God is God all by Himself. We have to realize that even though He has made provisions for us to ask, it is important for us to understand how to operate it. Read the rest of this entry

Turn To God

Psalm 40:3 “He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.”

A time will come when there is nothing in your bank account that can help you. A time will come when even the number one prophet in the land cannot help you. Read the rest of this entry

Countercultural

Ps. 62:11 “God has spoken plainly, and I have heard it many times: Power, O God, belongs to you”

Prayer is countercultural. In our culture, we like action and we like control. But prayer gives control to God and prayer demands dependence on God. Read the rest of this entry

Confront Lies

John 8:32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

One of satan’s main tactic is to lie to God’s people [John 8:44]. Which of the following lies are you most tempted to believe? I urge you to engage this truthfully and prayerfully. Read the rest of this entry

Pick It Up

Jn.12:24 Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” (NRSV, with emphasis).

Abraham was a classic example of giving up life to find life. Abraham, in the place of waiting on God for a child decided to help God. As if God had forgotten how to make children. Abraham produced Ishmael and God in His mercy chose to bless Ishmael. Read the rest of this entry

His Will Not Yours

Matt.26:39 He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

The Bible tells us again that in Matt.26:42 Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed, “My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done.” 44 So he went to pray a third time, saying the same things again.” After reading this, Read the rest of this entry
