The Crux
Gen.1:27-28 “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over …every living thing…”
Today we are looking at three areas of fruitfulness and the first area of fruitfulness for a believer is, the Character of the believer, the fruit of The Spirit. God’s Sheep
John 10:4-5 “After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice.”
In John 10, Jesus uses two illustrations for the Shepherd and the sheep. The first is of a big sheep pen, with several shepherds each having their sheep inside the pen and the area is guarded by a gatekeeper. Your Shepherd
1 Peter 2:25 “Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.”
What would you consider the greatest sacrifice you can make? Can you die for anyone? There is someone who died for us, He is the great Shepherd who lays His life down for the sheep. That is a big part of our study for the next few days. Read the rest of this entry

John 9:35-38 “…Do you believe in the Son of Man?” The man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.” “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!” “Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus.” This speaks of the Lordship of Jesus. Truth About…
1 John 4:20 “If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?”
Imagine someone says to you, ‘I like you, but I hate your children’, how would you take to that? Will the person be welcome in your home? All of us can relate to this either as parents or as a child to someone. Someone is claiming to love your father, but the person hates you, how will you take to that? Read the rest of this entry
The Way
John 8:4-6 “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger.”
When Pharisees and teachers of religious law call you, ‘Teacher’, you know you are in trouble. The truth is, they never acknowledged Jesus as a teacher in the first place. Heart Affairs II
John 3:8 “The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”
In John 8:25, Jesus was saying, ‘Even if I told you again, you would not believe me. Even if I told you what has happened, you still would not believe.’ As you study the Bible, at some point you will have to ask, why doesn’t Jesus just explain to these people plainly? Read the rest of this entry
In Context
John 7:37-38 “On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”
Let me give you some background to today’s anchor scripture. The festival here is the festival of Tabernacles also knows as the festival of Shelters, or the festival of Booths [Succoth]. The Path
John 6:4 “(It was nearly time for the Jewish Passover celebration.)”
When you look at the event of things, it was approximately six months exist between John 5 and John 6. It was almost time for the Jewish Passover celebration.
