2 Timothy 2:24 “And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient” (KJV, emphasis added).

 

Don’t Strive! Don’t. The New International Version puts it this way, 2 Timothy 2:24And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome…”. It is a misnomer to be a child of God and be known to be a quarrelsome person. Read the rest of this entry

Isaiah 54:2-3 “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left;  your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.” (NIV)

Trust God!

The “Tent”

Genesis 12:8 “And he moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; there he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord.” (NKJV)

 

The family tent was the centre of community life. Everything flows from it. God is saying your tent is the centre of your life, everything flows from it. Enlargement cannot happen if you abandon your current influence. Read the rest of this entry

The Farm

Deuteronomy 8:18 “But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors…” (NIV)

 

For you to live a limitless life, you have to be in a place where your faith, finances, family, fitness, farm, friendships, and fun must be in sync. Our text remains 2 Kings 4:1-7 (please read).

Seed Size

Do You Know?

Gen. 26:12-13 “When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the Lord blessed him. He became a very rich man, and his wealth continued to grow.”

Who are you in God? Are you in touch with your blessings, the blessings that God has released into your life? When you go to a place, the place becomes blessed because you are there. Read the rest of this entry

In Context

John 7:37-38 “On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”

Let me give you some background to today’s anchor scripture. The festival here is the festival of Tabernacles also knows as the festival of Shelters, or the festival of Booths [Succoth].
