Is He?

Ps.23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” [NKJV, with emphasis]

The first question Psalm 23 [please read] confronts us with is, who is your shepherd? David categorically says the Lord is my shepherd. You and I need to answer this question for ourselves, who is your shepherd? Read the rest of this entry

True Freedom

Eze.34:14 (GNT) “I will let them graze in safety in the mountain meadows and the valleys and in all the green pastures of the land of Israel. 15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will find them a place to rest. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken.

What we discover as we walk with God in freedom is that God is more than enough. God is not just enough, or to get us by, God is more than enough. Psalm 23 is a Psalm that most of us can recite by heart. Read the rest of this entry

Habitation

Ps.27:4 (TPT) “…the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer.”

I see myself as God’s boy, God’s sheep and freedom for the sheep does not mean running away from the shepherd. In fact, the sheep is only free when it is with the shepherd. We learnt yesterday that one of the major keys to walking in freedom is the presence of the Spirit of Christ. Read the rest of this entry

Pursue Him

2 Cor.3:17 “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Job 22:28 (KJV) Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. 29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.” Read the rest of this entry

Victory Road

Rom.12:2 “…let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

You cannot become truly unstoppable until you are out of Egypt and Egypt is out of you. Yesterday, we dwelt extensively on the pointers, things that show us that Egypt is still inside even though God has brought us out of Egypt. Read the rest of this entry

God’s Decree!

Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor …to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, 19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.” 21 “The Scripture… has been fulfilled this very day!”

For everyone that has come into God’s presence with a sickness in the body, I want you to lay your hands on that part of your body and command the sickness and pain out of your body. Read the rest of this entry

Turning Point

Ex.15:23 When they came to the oasis of Marah, the water was too bitter to drink. So they called the place Marah (which means “bitter”) … 25 So Moses cried out to the Lord for help, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. Moses threw it into the water, and this made the water good to drink.

In Esau’s life we see the weight and the consequences [the Marah] of missed opportunity. Thankfully, God is merciful! Even in all, God still gave Esau a door, a way of escape. Read the rest of this entry

No More!

Isa.40:2 (GW) “Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and announce to it that its time of hard labor is over and its wrongs have been paid for…” [with emphasis].

In line with my instructions, I have been speaking into specific Marah situations; the Marah of No Helper was the first and yesterday we dealt with the Marah of Mis-stepping. Read the rest of this entry

Align With God

1 Sam.7:14 The Israelite villages near Ekron and Gath that the Philistines had captured were restored to Israel, along with the rest of the territory that the Philistines had taken. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites in those days.

Every ground you have lost would be restored to you. I am announcing this, and I am showing you from God’s Word that every ground would be restored to you in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry

Accept It!

Philip.2:6 “Though he was God he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.”

We can learn three things from Jesus, our perfect example of humility from the story in Philip.2:6-11 [please read]. The first learning is, I Am Humble When I Accept That God Knows More Than I Do. Read the rest of this entry
