Shortfall
Rom.3:22 “We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”
Businesses go through seasons and that is totally understandable. However, it is one thing not to have the money to pay salaries and it is another thing to withhold the salaries of your employees.

God has not changed His standards. Premarital sex is unacceptable to God. A live-in partner is unacceptable to God. Adultery is unacceptable to God. Homosexuality is unacceptable to God. High Cost

When you deliberately magnify the consequences of sin, it will help you to stay pure in today’s sex-saturated world. Each time you are confronted with opportunities to violate God’s standard, deliberately mentally list out what the consequences of that step would be.

Immorality has a pattern, an identifiable process to how it happens. It starts with the thoughts, engages the emotions, and then translates to actions. You need to be aware that your resistance to sin can be lowered; so guard against it. When sin is glamorized, our resistance is lowered towards it. So watch the things that your heart desires so that they do not set you against God.
