My Help

1Kings 17:3 “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook…. 4 Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them….” 5 So Elijah did as the Lord told him… 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook.

It is important that we follow this story and see the clear picture that David is painting for us. Our God is just so amazing. David says in Ps.23:5 “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies…” [with emphasis]. Read the rest of this entry

Sheep 101

Jn.10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.” [with emphasis]

The presence of the shepherd brings real freedom to the sheep. However, in order for Jesus to be your shepherd and for you to experience real freedom, you must first be a sheep. Read the rest of this entry

He Is Able

1 Sam.7:8 “Don’t stop pleading with the Lord our God to save us from the Philistines!” they begged Samuel.

Who do you turn to when your back is against the wall? You have been trusting God for financial fruitfulness, then man presents you with options that are clearly not from God. But you say to yourself after all God will use somebody. Read the rest of this entry

Protocol

Ps. 27:6 “…I will enter His presence, offering sacrifices and praise. In His house, I am overcome with joy. As I sing, yes, and play music for the Eternal alone.” (Voice).

Your attitude determines your access and it is praise that gives you access to His courts. You may enter questioning the reason of your existence, Read the rest of this entry

Passion Speaks

1 Chr. 21:24 “But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on buying it for the full price. I will not take what is yours and give it to the Lord. I will not present burnt offerings that have cost me nothing!”

Muscles are developed through resistance. If it does not cost you anything, chances are that it is not going to take you anywhere. I saw a tweet by @Sports HQ that captured this so aptly, “Obsessed is just the word the lazy use to describe the dedicated”. Read the rest of this entry

Love’s Sacrifice

John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

I urge you to consistently put the love sacrifice to God before you and just meditate on it. God gave His one and only Son just for you. Not to come and preach and teach us along but to give His life in exchange for ours. Read the rest of this entry

This Love

John 20:16 “Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, “Rabboni!” (which is Hebrew for “Teacher”).

Immediately Mary recognized that the person she was speaking to was Jesus, the one she had been looking for. She must have leaped toward him, with arms stretched out to hug Him tightly as she would normally do. Read the rest of this entry

For The Glory

Jn.3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Love is costly; God gave His Son and Jesus went to the cross. The way of love is costly. The way of love is the way of sacrifice. Love is sacrificial. Read the rest of this entry

Ambassador

1 Cor.15:19 (AMPC) “If we who are [abiding] in Christ have hope only in this life and that is all, then we are of all people most miserable and to be pitied.”

Christianity is not a fun fair. We are grateful to be on God’s side, and that our lives are not limited to this world alone. We have a hope of eternal life, everlasting life with God. Our decisions cannot be based on this world Read the rest of this entry

The Stand

Eph.6:10 “…be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might… 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth…”

There is so much to learn from the Book and the person of Daniel, particularly in times like this. Things are challenging for the world; however, we are certain that it does not take God by surprise. According to Read the rest of this entry
