Ps.46:1 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. 2 So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea” [with emphasis].
Ps.91:5 “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night…” It is normal to feel fear. The fact that you are afraid does not mean you have lost the battle. Some people think that feeling fear means they have lost the battle and so they throw in the towel. I am telling you today that you can feel fear and still be on course. I want you to put fear in its proper place today. The greatest of men sometimes do things while afraid.

Job 22:21 [KJV] “Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.”
The next thing that the spiritual leaders did, particularly Ezra, was to teach the people the Word of God. Why teach the Word? Ezra taught the people the Word because he needed to show them who they were. These people did not know the nation of Israel or anything about God. He needed to teach them so that they could see the world and see themselves. As a child of God, there are many things that attempt to influence your identity. Rom.14:10, 13 [PH] “We will all be judged one day, not by each other’s standards, or even our own, but by the judgment of God… It is to God alone that we shall have to answer for our actions.”
Sometimes, God talks to us about other people so that He can confirm what He has said to them. This is closely linked to moral authority. You must have the moral authority to engage people at that level otherwise keep quiet. Even with yourself, with certain things and in certain situations, you need to ask yourself “does this concern my responsibility”? Let me give you an illustration. Purity Is Possible!
“God wants you to be pure and to keep clear of all sexual sin… For God has not called us to be dirty-minded and full of lust but to be holy and clean” 1 Thes.4:3,7 [LB, emphasis added]
God wants us to think clearly about sex. The question is how does one stay pure in a sex-saturated world? How does one stay pure in a world that is bombarded with sexual images, sexual nuances and with intense sexual pressure? I wondered about this myself in the past. A lot of people are struggling with statements made over them. Interestingly, it is not even a statement from the Most High they are struggling with. “Thus says the Lord” is the weightiest statement in heaven and on earth and it overrides every expert report regardless of the field. I know of ladies that doctors and specialists had told it was medically impossible for them to have children given their conditions.
