The Father’s Heart

Ps.103:7 “He revealed his character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel”

The ways of God are both the formula [the ordinance of heaven] and the act [the character] of the Father. You must know both to understand the ways of God. It is not just the ordinances; if you know just the formulas you are going to get into trouble. Why? It is because if you know just the formula, you will get the result. The beauty of the formula is that you do not even have to be saved to know it. If you know it and work it, you will get the results but you can lose your soul. It is possible to actually operate under the ordinances of heaven and go to hell.

Domain Based I

Matt.6:34 “So do not worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Living faithfully is a large enough task for today” [Voice]

You are not accountable for what you do not know. As far as God has hidden it, you are not accountable for it; so relax! Before you start worrying about what you do not know, the question is what have you done about the things you know? It is the things you know, the things already revealed that God will hold you accountable for. The things that God has spoken to your spirit, what have you done about it? Act on those things and stop worrying about what God has not revealed. Deal with what He has revealed and watch Him reveal much more.

Future Peace

Ecc.8:7 “For no one knows what is going to happen, so who can warn him before it does?” [Voice]

Human beings have an innate desire to know the future. This is why we have so many people predicting the future. Every year, different people come up with predictions of what the year holds. The business people come up with business predictions and anyone that has anything to do with anything spiritual, comes up with its own predictions. There are a lot of confusing and contradicting predictions out there because everybody just wants to have a say about what will happen in the future.

Favour Magnet

Deut.28:2 [NKJV]And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God”

What are those things that the Holy Spirit has been prompting you to work on and what are you waiting for? God is prompting you to work on your fitness so that you will be strong, but you are sitting tight and saying “By the grace of God”. Stop giving God a bad name! Do not get me wrong I do believe in miracles but I assure you, this is the secret of greatness right here in the Word of God. Read the rest of this entry

Ten Over Ten

Ecc.9:11 “…The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives….”

Favour will open the door and give you an opportunity but, if you are not strong, fast, skillful, educated and wise, that opportunity will pass by. If you do not work on your speed, your strength, your wisdom, your skill, and your education, you will miss it. However, you will be fast, you will be strong, you will be wise, you will be skillful and you will be educated. So for you to Read the rest of this entry

Capacity

“He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would wonderfully bless me and help me in my work; please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all evil and disaster!” And God granted him his request” 1 Chro.4:10 [TLB]

Favour will open doors for us where nothing else can. But we all still need skill, wisdom, speed, strength, and education. When favour opens the door, it is skill, wisdom, speed, strength, and education that will keep you in the room. For example, a boy gets an all expense paid scholarship to Harvard. That is favour. But you will agree with me that he still needs to read his books, go to Read the rest of this entry

Before

Don’t be selfish…  Be humble….  Don’t think only about your own affairs, be interested in others too, and what they are doing. Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus had.  Though He was God, He did not demand and cling to His rights.”  Phil. 2:3-6[ emphasis added]

The secret of defusing conflict is in understanding where people are coming from. Understand their circumstance, their background, and their temperament. I know that understanding can be tough and a lot of people do not know how. So I will let you in on the secret to understanding and it is; you understand by listening before you speak. It sounds very simple but this is a life-saver. However in a conflict, all people care about is what they want to say. Have you noticed? Read the rest of this entry

Security

“For the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap” Prov.3:26

The need for security is one of the deepest needs we have. And once it is threatened, our security need preoccupies us completely almost grinding to a halt other areas of our lives. Imagine how confident the step of someone that has been promoted at work three times in past one year would be. Imagine how much spring he would have in his steps. Then he bounces to work one day and a little bird tells him that the company is downsizing and would be letting fifty percent of its current staff go. What do you think will happen to him and the spring in his step? He will immediately Read the rest of this entry

Maneuver

Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life” John 3:6

George Washington, one of the ex-presidents of the United States of America, was the one that led the campaign that broke the back of the British hold on America. It was successful because he deployed the Principle of Maneuver. Up until this time, he had lost all his battles. George Washington was trained in continental warfare. Continental warfare has a lot to do with structure and order. He approached the battle against the British forces using his Read the rest of this entry

Personal Development

“The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!” Saul finally consented. “All right, go ahead,” he said. “And may the Lord be with you!” 1 Sam.17:37

Courage can be developed. But how do you develop courage? Simple.  You develop courage by acting courageous. You may be afraid but you shake it off and act as if you are courageous. That is how you develop courage. I am telling you for a fact – everyone that appears courageous knows fear. The more you act courageous, the more courageous you become. Ralph Waldo Emerson says, “Make a habit throughout your life of doing the things you fear; if you do the things you fear, the death of fear is certain”. You are a young man who is afraid to talk to women. Just do it Read the rest of this entry
