In Conflict

Gal.5:16 [NIV] “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.”

 

You will never build a walk with God, a marriage, a fit body, or a robust bank account by obeying the world’s law of instant gratification. I also struggled with wanting instant gratification with prayer and getting anointed. Read the rest of this entry

No Shortcuts

People may be attracted to packaging but it is the content that will determine if it is money well spent or not. Imagine buying a cereal from the supermarket,

Needing Light?

Prov. 1:“Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair.”
