He Is Able I
Ps. 34: 4 “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.”
Generally, people trusting God for the fruit of the womb, go through a lot. There is usually a lot of pressure on them to find alternatives. But God is saying to you today, do not give up your faith. That is the only thing that can deliver what you are trusting God for. Two women came to see me at the office; they were strangers to each other until they met in the waiting room at the office. I was in a meeting that day, that lasted for three hours and in that time, these two ladies became friends. One had been trusting God for the Read the rest of this entry
Who’s Report?
Ps.84:11 “For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.”
I will be giving you a lot of scriptures in this season; pay close attention to them. I challenge you to organize them, print them out and put them in front of you. Ponder over them, let your worship flow from them and bring God’s Word back to Him. Why? It is because your fruitfulness, our fruitfulness as children of God, is rooted in the Word of God. Nothing was created except through the Word. You need to embrace God’s Word. Remember also that fruitfulness is still being delivered; staying in the Word positions us for it.
In Its Place
Ps.46:1 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. 2 So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea” [with emphasis].
Ps.91:5 “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night…” It is normal to feel fear. The fact that you are afraid does not mean you have lost the battle. Some people think that feeling fear means they have lost the battle and so they throw in the towel. I am telling you today that you can feel fear and still be on course. I want you to put fear in its proper place today. The greatest of men sometimes do things while afraid.
When we were going to take our land as a church, someone asked me if I was afraid. My response was and is, “So what? Does fear Read the rest of this entry
Banish Fear
Ps.91:5 “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night…”
Fear is a major factor we have to overcome in our quest to breakthrough in fruitfulness financially, in the fruit of our body, and in our relationships. The enemy uses fear to keep a lot of people barren in their bodies, in their minds, in their finances, in their business, or in the assignment that God has for them. A lot of people are barren because they are afraid that they will “not make it”. Even right now, the enemy is saying to you, “How can you be talking about being fruitful, don’t you know your history?” The enemy is just trying Read the rest of this entry
Fruitful
Gen.1:27 “…In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals….”
God has released the power for fruitfulness upon us all. Believe it, receive it and walk in the fullness of it, in Jesus Name. For someone reading this today, your story up until today has been that when something new springs forth in your life, you have a regular dream of contention and the thing just fades away. God, your Father, is going to cut off the head of your contender, in Jesus Name. People close to you will sleep and not wake up; just let them go.
Confess & Forsake!
Prov.28:13 “People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy” [with emphasis].
Settle This!
Mark 12:30 “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength” [with emphasis]
Sex is sweet but sacred! It is a fulfillment that comes as a reward of the pursuit of a person. But if you put the weight of your deepest desires on another human being, you are going to crush that person completely. Luke 10:27 “…You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” The Bible shows us clearly that God is to be No.1 and then your neighbor is No.2. Your spouse is your first neighbor. If they insist on wearing the No.1 tag, my Read the rest of this entry
Compass
1 Cor.7:3 “The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. 4The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other of sexual relations…”
Some wives feel like this is the only Scripture that their husbands can quote verbatim. But the truth is that your body is not your own as our scripture reference today reveals. Check your own Bible and confirm. As a husband or a wife you cannot base intimacy on how you feel. The Bible frowns at it and calls such people defrauders. There is pleasurable intimacy and there is dutiful intimacy. Also in marriage, you cannot approach intimacy seeking your own fulfillment or feelings; you will not get anything that way. When the focus is Read the rest of this entry
Reward
Gen.29:25 “Morning came: There was Leah in the marriage bed!” [MSG, with emphasis]
We teach our people [intending and already married couples], that when in marriage, the package [everything you see] is your portion. We teach our people acceptance. You accept the totality of the other person. Just accept it because in the morning it will always be Leah. You have to accept your lot in life because that is how it is. Three times in the Book of Ecclesiastes [3:22, 5:18 & 19], the Bible admonishes us to accept our lot in life.
Behold…
Genesis 29: 25 “But when Jacob woke up in the morning—it was Leah! “What have you done to me?” Jacob raged at Laban. “I worked seven years for Rachel! Why have you tricked me?”
If you put the weight of your deepest desire on any human being, you are going to crush them. I do not care how big your husband’s biceps are or how talented your wife is, if you put the weight of your deepest desire on him or her, you are going to crush them. The reason this will happen is because they cannot carry the weight and you will be left disappointed. The times that I have been unhappy are the times I expected a human being to fill my tank. Subconsciously, I shifted my gaze from looking to God to fill my tank, to Read the rest of this entry
