When God Speaks, II

Isaiah 30:21 “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.”

What should you expect when God speaks to you? Firstly, as you are led by God’s Spirit, expect that All Your Needs Will Be Met. Secondly, as you are led by God’s Spirit, Your Placement Will Be Strategic. God will put you in some very nice places. Read the rest of this entry

When God Speaks, I

2 Cor.9:8 “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”

You need to develop an appetite for hearing God’s voice. Do you know that people, even today, who don’t know God are able to discern and follow the leading of God’s voice? Have you heard people say, ‘Something led me to and made me invest my money that way, Read the rest of this entry

His Voice

1 Sam.3:7-8 “Samuel did not yet know the Lord because he had never had a message from the Lord before. So the Lord called a third time, and once more Samuel got up and went to Eli. “Here I am. Did you call me?” Then Eli realized it was the Lord who was calling the boy.”

Gal. 5:25 “If the Spirit is the source of our life, we must also allow the Spirit to direct every aspect of our lives.” (TPT)

Whose voice are you hearing? Is it the voice of God, or the voice of your parents? Is it the voice of your friends, or the voice of your adversaries? Is it the voice of the Bible, or the voice of your flesh? Is it the voice of the devil, or the voice of Prophets? Read the rest of this entry

Voices III

2 Sam.2:1 “After this, David asked the Lord, “Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?” “Yes,” the Lord replied. Then David asked, “Which town should I go to?” “To Hebron,” the Lord answered.”

The voice of God, the voice of parents, the voice of friends, the voice of adversaries, the voice of the Bible, the voice of the flesh, the voice of the devil, and the voice of Prophets. Voices II

John 10:4-5, & 27 “After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.  They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice… My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

We will pick up today’s devotional from where we stopped yesterday. We said that out of the multitude of voices in the world, we will zero in on twelve and we highlighted four yesterday. First is the voice of God. Second is the voice of parents. Read the rest of this entry

Voices I

Psalm 27:8 “My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

The ability to hear God’s voice is one thing I am totally grateful for and by God’s grace, it pleases Him to speak to me. However, even when I have heard God, I stay there – waiting and watching – maintaining the posture of hearing from God. Read the rest of this entry

In Preparation

Hab. 2:1 “I will take my place at the watchtower. I will stand at my post and watch. I will watch and see what He says to me. I need to think about how I should respond to Him when He gets back to me with His answer.” (Voice)

Thank God for His kindness over us and it is our prayer that God will breathe upon us and change our lives even as He speaks His Word to us. Accept Not Reject

Psalm 20:3 “May he accept all your offerings and be pleased with all your sacrifices.” (GNT)

I have shared this testimony several times but it is really instructive, so I will share it again. I look at some people and I am amazed at the kind of steps they take. A certain woman had three children, male and female, yet she came to meet me,  that she needed a miracle and wanted us to pray. Read the rest of this entry
