1Thess.1:9 (NIV) “…They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God” [with emphasis].
Can you identify the order that is outlined in today’s scriptural reference? God’s Word says turn to God from idols. In the original [in the Greek], it actually emphasizes the fact that you are not turning from idols to God, instead you turn to God from idols. Read the rest of this entry
Superior Intelligence
Heb.11:9 “And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise.”
Too many people benchmark God’s will with ease but the proof of God’s will is peace and not ease. God’s Word does not say it will always be easy. God’s Word says it will always be peaceful. God wants us to Step Up in different areas of our lives. We have looked at how to step up financially and spiritually.
