Finished Work

Col.2:13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross[with emphasis].

Yesterday we talked about three kinds of boasts; man’s boast, God’s boast and satan’s boast. Today we will be learning the two ways of escaping satan’s boast. The first way is to not ever sin from the day you were born till the day you die. Read the rest of this entry

Solid Rock

Num.22:17 “I will pay you very well and do whatever you tell me. Just come and curse these people for me!” 18 But Balaam responded to Balak’s messengers, “Even if Balak were to give me his palace filled with silver and gold, I would be powerless to do anything…” [with emphasis]

I declare over you today that in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, even if your enemy were to give their life’s worth to priests, or ritualists, or to wizards to curse you, they will be powerless to do anything against you. Read the rest of this entry

Living Witness

Acts1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth [with emphasis]

Jesus is all about proving that He is alive and well. We have heard several testimonies of people that plug in to services in God’s Favourite House online and God delivers amazing results right there in their living rooms. Someone joined one of our communion services online. Read the rest of this entry

Body of Proof

1 Kings 18: 36 “…O Lord …prove today that you are God in Israel… Prove that I have done all this at your command. 38 Immediately the fire of the Lord flashed down from heaven and burned up the young bull, the wood, the stones, and the dust. It even licked up all the water…”

In God’s Favourite House, we are totally grateful for the Presence of the Holy Spirit and we are grateful that at every meeting, it pleases the Holy Spirit to deliver the burden of proof that He is alive. The burden of proof is His way of saying, “I am alive, I am here and I am in charge.” Read the rest of this entry

Israel

Heb.11:30 “It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down.”

The seventh example of stepping up by faith is the Israelites. Heb.11:29It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.” In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as you take your steps of faith forward, every Egyptian that attempts to follow you will drown. Step Up Lesson 5

Ex.2:2 “The woman became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She saw that he was a special baby and kept him hidden for three months.”

Heb.11:17 “It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, 18 even though God had told him, “Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted.” Read the rest of this entry

Superior Intelligence

Heb.11:9 And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise.”

Too many people benchmark God’s will with ease but the proof of God’s will is peace and not ease. God’s Word does not say it will always be easy. God’s Word says it will always be peaceful. When everyone else is in pain or confused, you may be in a tent but you will have so much peace. Read the rest of this entry

By Faith!

Heb.11:8 “It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going” [with emphasis].

The fifth example of stepping up by faith is Abraham. Most times, God would not show you the total picture, God would not fully tell you how or where. People often come to me asking to know what will happen next in their journey with God. Read the rest of this entry

Sarah Believed?

Heb.11:11 “It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise” [with emphasis].

The Bible says that though Sarah was barren and she was too old, she believed that God was able to keep His promise. In other words, Sarah had the odds stacked up against her, she had enough evidence to doubt God but Sarah chose to believe God still. Read the rest of this entry

Step Up Lesson 3

Heb.11:1 “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see” [with emphasis].

Faith is not God can prosper me. Faith is knowing that God will prosper you because He already has prospered you. You are blessed already. People will challenge you, “How can you say you are blessed when you are still using ‘legedis benz’ [slang for not having a car]?” Read the rest of this entry
