As Promised

2 Sam.7:25 “And now, O Lord God, I am your servant; do as you have promised concerning me and my family. Confirm it as a promise that will last forever… make them true perpetually. Do what You have promised.” (NLT, Voice, emphasis added).

There is a game I try to play with God, I say to Him – ‘Sovereign King, since You are the Sovereign King let us play a game, let us experiment. Bless me in a remarkable way that even my own jaw will drop. Read the rest of this entry

Right Season

Acts 2:33 “Then God exalted him to his right hand upon the throne of highest honour. And the Father gave him the authority to send the promised Holy Spirit, which is being poured out upon us today…” (TPT).

Eccl.9:11 I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race…” Since the race is not to the swift, is the Bible saying do not be fast? No, the Bible is saying if you train to be fast, you are the favourite to win the race. Read the rest of this entry

Principles & Miracles

Eccl.9:11 “The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skilful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives…”

There are two dimensions of favour. Largely. The first is Favour By Principles; there are certain principles that unlock favour. For example, the principle of diligence – Proverbs 22:29Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” (KJV). Psalm 106:4-5 “Remember me, O Lord, when You favour Your people. Visit me with Your salvation [when You rescue them], That I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance.” (AMP)

Let us start our time in God’s presence today by thanking Him because it is our time for favour, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. God will lay His hands upon you in the Mighty Name of Jesus and do miracles in your favour instantly, silently, and completely. Read the rest of this entry

Turning Point

2 Sam.9:10-11 “You and your sons and servants are to farm the land for him, to produce food for his family; but he will live here with me.”…And from that time on, Mephibosheth ate regularly with King David, as though he were one of his own sons.” (NLT, paraphrased)

Your turnaround is from Darkness to Light, from the Prison to the Palace, from Sorrow to Joy, from Penury to Plenty, from Having a Career to Having a Call, from Barrenness to Fruitfulness, from Sickness to Health, from a “Nobody” to a “Somebody”, Read the rest of this entry

In Context

John 7:37-38 “On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”

Let me give you some background to today’s anchor scripture. The festival here is the festival of Tabernacles also knows as the festival of Shelters, or the festival of Booths [Succoth]. There are two dimensions to the festival of Tabernacles; there is a Historical Dimension and there is the Agricultural Dimension to the festival. Read the rest of this entry

God-Assured

Rom.15:13 “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

During my study of the Bible, on the things that give us confidence in God, I came across over twenty things. However, we will examine four of them. The first thing that gives confidence in God is the fact that God offers to forgive everything I have done. Read the rest of this entry

Done Vs. Do

Gal. 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

The better life that Jesus offers is a life not only filled with meaning, It Is A Life That Is Freed By Grace. What is grace? I like to use an equation for grace and it is; Grace = favour + mercy. A life freed [set free] by grace is a life freed by favour and mercy. Read the rest of this entry

Faith Overrides

Mark 5:22-23 Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.”

Faith Is A Certainty That Leads To Action. The knowing that goes beyond intellect and reasoning. At some point in our lives, Sunday evenings were for evangelism. My wife and I were not pastors then but after church, on Read the rest of this entry

Isa.46:3-4 “Listen to me…I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

Jesus did not prioritize the dying girl over the bleeding woman. Even in this God was making a big statement to Jairus. You are concerned about your little girl; I am also concerned about My little girl. This woman is My little Read the rest of this entry
