Earn Some!
2 Thess. 3:12 “In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we appeal to people–no, we command them: Settle down and get to work. Earn your own living” [with emphasis]
When it comes to stepping up financially, there are seven areas in which you have to Step Up in concurrently otherwise you will have a problem stepping up financially. But if you Step Up in these areas, you will inevitably Step Up financially, in Jesus Name. Read the rest of this entry
Step It Up!
Deut.1:6 “When we were at Mount Sinai, the Lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. 7 It is time to [Step up] break camp and move on…” [with emphasis]
We need to Step up in our thinking. We need to stop “stinking thinking” like it is said. If it were possible to project people’s thoughts on a big screen, many people will be embarrassed. That simply points to “stinking thinking”. Read the rest of this entry
Rejoice
Philip. 4:4 (NKJV) “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” [with emphasis]
God empowers us to be joyful and He expects us to be joyful. I am trusting God that everything that is leaking your joy will be exposed and evicted out of your life, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Ps. 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Read the rest of this entry

Ps. 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Do you know anyone or are you the kind of person that remains joyful in times of adversity and uncertainty? If it is someone you know, then what strikes you most about that person? Read the rest of this entry
Point Of Contact III
Lu.8:43 “A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding, and she could find no cure. 44 Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped”.
God is accessible but God is not common. Because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, we can access God easily. We no longer have to sacrifice bulls and rams. We must never become too familiar with God. A lot of people in their bid to be uncommon, have barricaded themselves. Not Jesus, He chose to let people push and touch Him. But the person that places a demand on Him will get results. So when you hang out with God daily, value Him.
Open Doors
Deut. 28:12 “The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow”
Everything you are not grateful for will eventually exit your life. You are there waiting on God to do xyz for you to be happy. An anonymous quote reads, “It’s not happy people who are thankful. It’s thankful people who are happy”. Stop waiting for that promotion, the open doors, a child or marriage to happen before you show gratitude to God. God is saying be grateful then you will be happy. We often let “what could be” rob us of the joy of what will be or already is.
Cost Of Favour
“For God said to Moses, “I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.” So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.” Rom.9:15-16 [emphasis added]
You will not go very far if you think you have to deserve everything you get. For where God is taking you to, you are going to get things you do not deserve. So do not feel bad or become apologetic. Just thank God for His favour and for giving you what you do not deserve. If you wait to earn everything, you are going to be very slow in this life. God is saying to you, I am going to Read the rest of this entry
Thank God
“If you go on hurting each other and tearing each other apart, be careful, or you will completely destroy each other.” Gal.5:15 [NCV]
You need people around you. If you are a man you need a woman, if you are a woman you need a man, that is, in a marriage situation. J.F. Newton says, “People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges”. Most of the time, it is because we “learn” from our experiences and so we come up with all sorts of gimmicks to protect ourselves. And because we are hurt, we go on to hurt other people. “Hurting people hurt people”. And because we are in pain, we inflict pain.
Principle of Firsts
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine” Pr.3:9-10 [NIV]
Make God priority in any area of your life that you want God to bless. If you want God to bless your marriage, in your home make God priority. If you want God to bless your finances, in your finances make God priority. If you want God to bless your children, in their lives make God priority. It is obvious that God does not need your money. What He needs is what the money represents and that is your Gratitude. You are thanking God for helping you earn the money. Secondly, Read the rest of this entry
Gratitude
“So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me” John 11:41 [emphasis added]
You need to respond appropriately to God. Yesterday we looked at three responses and today we will drill even deeper into those three responses. Ezekiel’s Response: “Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign Lord,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.” Eze.37:3 [emphasis added]. What Ezekiel was saying in essence is, how can I boast of such knowledge? Fantastic response.
Mary’s Response: “Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” Lu.1:34 Fantastic response. Mary’s response showed that she was seeking knowledge and understanding. But Martha’s response was very different from the other two. Read the rest of this entry
