Keys

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” Prov. 22:29 [KJV, emphasis added]

God wants you to Stand Tall in your industry because you are representing the Kingdom of God in that industry. It is so important for us to set our minds on this and keep it set. So I will teach you two keys to help you. The two keys to Standing Tall in your industry; the first is diligence and the second is excellence. You will Stand Tall, not before dwarfs but before Giants but you have to be diligent. Secondly, you have to execute with excellence. It is not enough to be Read the rest of this entry

Kingdom Rep

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” Prov. 22:29 [KJV, emphasis added]

1Samuel 17:22-37. David came to the battle front as an errand boy but then he heard Goliath fuming and saw every soldier in Israel hiding. So he started asking what the reward would be for the man that kills Goliath. Eliab heard this and began to talk down on David. The ‘Eliab’s’ will always confuse God confidence with self-confidence. So they will try to reduce you to nothing, make you feel inferior, make Read the rest of this entry

Submerged!

“But if I am casting out demons by the power of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.” Luke 11:20 [emphasis added]

Imagine your life and your world totally submerged in God’s Kingdom. Which means that your world and your life will be filled with the power of God, righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Spirit, health etc. You would not be talking about healing anymore; you will be talking about health. You would not be talking about financial breakthrough anymore; you will be talking about wealth. You would not be Read the rest of this entry

What Will It Be?

When Elisha was in his last illness, King Jehoash of Israel visited him and wept over him. “My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Israel!” he cried2kings 13:14.

The pain of every leader is to look back and not find anyone following. The pain of every leader is to look back and not find anyone willing to pay the price necessary for leadership. This was a pain that Elisha was familiar with. He looked back at his life and the only son of the prophet that came close was Gehazi. Gehazi had the opportunity to collect a double Read the rest of this entry

Strike!

“But the man of God was angry with him. “You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed. “Then you would have beaten Syria until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.” 2 kings 13:19

“Then he said, “Now pick up the other arrows and strike them against the ground.” So the king picked them up and struck the ground three times” 2 kings 13:18. This was the mistake the king made. God told him to start but he decided on his own when to stop. If God told you to start, let God tell you when to stop! If God tells you to strike, strike and keep striking! But Read the rest of this entry

True Humility

“Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God” John 13:3 [emphasis added]

Scripture is clear, Jesus knew who He was. He knew how powerful He was. Many of us think people are humble because they are downtrodden and they do not know who they are. Humility is “knowing” who you are and laying it aside. False humility is trying to pretend that you do not even know who you are. True humility is “knowing” who you are and laying it aside. Jesus knew who He Read the rest of this entry

Servant Spirit

“…You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servantMatt.20:25-26 [emphasis added]

He who wants to be the leader must be the servant. “…and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slaveMatt.20:27 [emphasis added]. As though the word servant is not graphic enough, Jesus went on to further define it with the word slave. So it is not about “big man-ism” but rather it is about “big God-ism”. I know some of us will struggle with this but that is the Read the rest of this entry

Another Dimension

“About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the waterMatt.14:25 [emphasis added]

Please read Matthew 14:22-33. “Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and cross to the other side of the lake, while he sent the people home” Matt.14:22 . It is interesting that when they had a party because they practically had a party when Jesus fed five thousand men not counting women and children. Everybody ate and there must have been a lot to Read the rest of this entry

Being A Christian

“This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace” Col.1:6

The Word of God is so powerful, rich, beautiful, and so amazing. We are going to be spending a lot of time with God’s Word over the next few weeks as we study the Book of Colossians. Please study Colossians chapter one as we kick off our study from there. Being a Christian is all about life change. The Word of God has come to us to change our lives. If who you were Read the rest of this entry

Keep Your Flock

But David persisted. “I have been taking care of my father’s sheep and goats,” he said. “When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock, I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth…’ 1Sam.17:34-35

The key to the shepherds experiencing glory was in minding their business [Luke 2:8-9]. When you mind your business, then heaven is able to trust you with new business [Luke 16:10]. ‘So an elder must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exercise self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must be able to teach. He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money. He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?’ [1Tim.3:2-5].
