Thick or Thin?
Jn.3:30 “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.”
Physics tells us that how thick or how thin a material is, impacts on its energy transfer rate. Conductivity, Area of Exposure, Hunger and Thickness are the variables that Physics tells us affect the rate of energy transfer. We know that science copied Scripture because these factors are evident in Gehazi’s life. Read the rest of this entry
Variables
2 Kings 4: 31 Gehazi hurried on ahead and laid the staff on the child’s face, but nothing happened. There was no sign of life. He returned to meet Elisha and told him, “The child is still dead” [with emphasis].
When I first read this portion of Scripture, a couple of things stood out for me. When the child died, this woman did not waste time telling her problem to people who could not solve it. She declared that all was well until she met Elisha. The second thing that stood out for me was the fact that Elisha’s mantle did not work in the hands of Gehazi. This is the same mantle that was handed down from Elijah; Read the rest of this entry
Point Of Contact IV
Acts 19:11 “Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.”
Handkerchiefs were taken from Paul’s body and carried to where Paul himself could not go and those handkerchiefs healed the sick. I mean that is just amazing – charge and discharge. A man once came for one of our God Will Do It Again Services and when it was time for anointing, he had his handkerchief anointed. This man traveled home to his sick mother who had been unable to walk. He laid the handkerchief on her and the woman got her healing and began to walk. All glory to Jesus, now and forever.
Point Of Contact III
Lu.8:43 “A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding, and she could find no cure. 44 Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped”.
God is accessible but God is not common. Because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, we can access God easily. We no longer have to sacrifice bulls and rams. We must never become too familiar with God. A lot of people in their bid to be uncommon, have barricaded themselves. Not Jesus, He chose to let people push and touch Him. But the person that places a demand on Him will get results. So when you hang out with God daily, value Him.
Point Of Contact II
Acts 19:11 “Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.”
The floating axe head: Where Elisha and the sons of the prophets were staying was too small. So they sought his permission to build a bigger place and he gave them the go ahead. They however did not stop there; they requested that he would go with them. 2 Kings 6:5 “But as one of them was cutting a tree, his ax head fell into the river. “Oh, sir!” he cried. “It was a borrowed ax!” 6 “Where did it fall?” the man of God asked. When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. Then the ax head floated to the surface.”
Point Of Contact I
2 Kings 13: 18 “…Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. 19 And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it…” [NKJV]
Please read Ex.14:15-22. This is the example of Moses parting the red sea. Ex .14:21 “Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind…”. Moses lifted up his hand and God parted the sea. If Moses had not lifted up his rod, would the sea have parted? If God had not sent the east wind, would the sea have parted? Read the rest of this entry
Contact
Acts 2: 2 “…there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…” [NKJV]
The first way physics says energy can move is by Conduction. If heat is applied to one end of an iron rod, gradually the heat is transferred to the other end of the rod. The second way is by Convection. Convection is the movement and transference of energy via liquid largely. Women do this almost everyday when they boil water. The third way is by Radiation. The Anointing
1 Jn 2:20 “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things… 27 …the anointing …abides in you, …the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him” [NKJV]
I pray that as you trust God for a miracle and come into His Presence with your point of contact item, God’s wonders will burst forth in your life, in Jesus Name. When we look at the supernatural and at the miracles of God, we cannot but talk about the power of God – the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The nature of the anointing is that it is difficult to separate the anointing of God from God. The anointing of God and God are almost inseparable. Read the rest of this entry
Body Of Evidence
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
The Holy Spirit Is The Source of Miracles. You must prioritize your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Earlier on in my walk with God, I believed that God was powerful but I had my reservations about the “miracle thing”. I had seen my mother and my grandmother pray and things happened. It was not that I did not trust the Pastors that God was using to work the miracles. But when people testified of miracles, I just felt they were being over-zealous. That was how much of God I knew and understood at that time. Things are very different now.
