Togetherness
Eph.4:3 “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” (emphasis added)
Note, we are not making an effort to create unity. Unity is created by the Spirit of God. But we are to make every effort to keep the unity that has been created by the Spirit of God. Read the rest of this entry
New Life Instructions III
Mark 2:22 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.” (emphasis added)
New life instructions are; Stop Telling Lies, Do Not Sin By Letting Your Anger Control You, Quit Stealing, Don’t Use Foul Or Abusive Language, And Get Rid Of All Bitterness, Rage, Anger, Harsh Words, And Slander. Read the rest of this entry
New Life Instructions II
Rom.12:2 “Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
True righteousness and holiness flow from a renewed mind and a renewed attitude by God’s Spirit. However, God gave us some clear pointers on how this new life should be. Read the rest of this entry

Paul’s Case
Eph.4:17 “With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused.”
Whereas in Eph.4:1 Paul said, “I beg you…”, in Eph.4:17 he says, “With the Lord’s authority I say this…”. We see a graduation from the picture of a father talking to his children, “I beg you…”. Read the rest of this entry
The Call
Eph.4:1 “Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.” (emphasis added).

Such Love!
Rom.8:38-39 (Voice) “For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord.
