Let Go!
Eze.36:11 “I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your beginnings. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” [NKJV]
If you are ever in doubt as to what you are truly worth, look at Jesus because He is the picture of the value God puts on you. The clay derives it worth from the potter. A lot of us are tempted to think our worth increases when we perform and we are successful. We are tempted to think that when we fail and our performance drops, our worth also decreases. But the truth is that your success does not increase your worth and your failure does not decrease your worth. Your worth in God is the priceless Blood of Jesus. There is nothing, Read the rest of this entry

Heb.10:23 “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise”.
The second Biblical example is from the life of Hannah. Hannah’s story was not just that she was married and childless, her husband was married to another woman that had children for him. So Hannah was childless in the midst of fruitfulness and was consistently ridiculed for it. The place of waiting comes with a certain level of pain that can greatly increase if the people around are not sensitive. But Hannah remained faithful to God. She could easily have focused on her pain and drifted away from God which is what a lot of Read the rest of this entry
Jokes Aside
Judg.13:4 Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean. 5 You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb…”
Many times when God establishes a covenant with us, we try to rationalize. Like Abraham said to God, “Will you make me a father of many nations at age ninety-nine? Let Ishmael live before you oh God!” [paraphrased]. In other words, Abraham was telling God the faulty foundation [Ishmael] that he had “helped” God build since God was late with delivery. He was showing God an example of how to produce a child. But God said, “I will bless Ishmael but in Isaac shall your seed be”. Isaac was not even born yet and Abraham was Read the rest of this entry
Good News!
Jer.1:10 “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant” [KJV]
The awesome news is this- life’s foundation can be corrected. The fact that you have a faulty foundation is not the end of your life. If you will cooperate with God, your life’s foundation can be corrected. Take the case of Gideon; I encourage you to read Judges 6. The first message to us in Judges 6 is, your current foundation is not an indication of what God has for you and your destiny. The angel said to Gideon, “oh mighty man of war” and he said, “Who are you talking to?”
Consider This
“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God” 1 Sam.30:6 [KJV]
Why are you so angry? Yesterday, we saw how anger kept Moses from entering his destiny. Anger will not keep you from entering your Promised Land, in Jesus Name. But you still need to watch out for it. We need to examine and weigh what we get angry about. Why are you so angry? Why do you allow yourself to be so short fused? Someone said, that is how we are in our family; when we get angry, we Read the rest of this entry
Called Out, Stand Out!
“It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin” Heb.11:24-25
What is Moses’ example? Moses’ example is do not align with Egypt. Do not align with Egypt; the life of compromise always doesn’t count. Everyone that lives a life of compromise will end up living a worthless life. The life that will count is the life that stays true to its mission. Moses was not just raised in Egypt, he was raised in the palace. Meaning he had access to best education, the best chariot, gold, silver, and anything he could ask for. But Moses Read the rest of this entry
A Life That Counts
“The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant…” Deut.6:11
We are going to start today’s devotion by reiterating one of the truths from yesterday. The truth is that if the minds of men can conceive it then it is small compared to what God is going to do in your life. You need to remember this truth because this year you will take giants steps towards the fulfillment of your destiny in Jesus Name. You will be experience such acceleration that people who Read the rest of this entry
Let God Dictate
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine” Isa.55:8
There was an experiment done a while back that has become a popular story today and I want to share that story with you. Monkeys are typically about three feet tall but they can scale a height of about seven feet or higher because the monkey is designed to jump. In the experiment they put a monkey in a cage and put a transparent roof over the cage at about five feet. They observed that the monkey Read the rest of this entry
Constant Pull
“We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments” 2 Cor.10:4
For every Word God gives you there is a constant tussle until the Word accomplishes God’s purpose in your life. “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it” Isaiah 55:11. God will give you a Word for your next level. But guess what? Men will also give you a word. It is almost an eternal battle Read the rest of this entry
Provocative Word
‘Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be’ Gen.17:5 & 15.
Even as 2014 comes to an end and as we look forward to 2015, God is saying destiny provoking name change. For some people, God is going to give you a new name before the end of this year. However, for some the name you are carrying is the issue. God had to change Abraham’s name from Abram to Abraham because that is His prophetic destiny. The name Abram was good but it was not great. So you need to carry the name of your Read the rest of this entry
