He Is Able!

We begin today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday; it is both an instruction and a warning. Do not mistake enemy friendliness for loyalty. Read the rest of this entry

Unstoppable

John 6:70 “Then Jesus said, “I chose the twelve of you, but one is a devil.”

Jesus tells us in Matt.10:36 “Your enemies will be right in your own household!’” You have to consistently scan the people around you. Lucifer was not satan from the beginning, until iniquity was found in him. Read the rest of this entry

My Help

1Kings 17:3 “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook…. 4 Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them….” 5 So Elijah did as the Lord told him… 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook.

It is important that we follow this story and see the clear picture that David is painting for us. Our God is just so amazing. David says in Ps.23:5 “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies…” [with emphasis]. Read the rest of this entry

Above & Beyond

Ps.23:5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” [NKJV]

Dependable Dad!

Lam.3:22 (VOICE) “How enduring is God’s loyal love; the Eternal has inexhaustible compassion. 23 Here they are, every morning, new! Your faithfulness, God, is as broad as the day. 24 Have courage, for the Eternal is all that I will need. My soul boasts, “Hope in God; just wait.”

Our final thought from yesterday’s devotional was this; when you realize that God is all that you have, then you will discover that God is all that you need. Really, until you realize that God is all that you have, Read the rest of this entry

Secure Indeed

Ps.62:1-2 [MSG] “God, the one and only— I’ll wait as long as he says. Everything I need comes from him, so why not? He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, an impregnable castle: I’m set for life.”
