Premise, Promise
John 15:9-10 “I’ve loved you the way my Father has loved me. Make yourselves at home in my love. If you keep my commands, you’ll remain intimately at home in my love. That’s what I’ve done—kept my Father’s commands and made myself at home in his love.” (MSG).
God loves you. Wherever you are, whoever you are, God loves you. He cares about every single area of your life, and He wants to bless you. God wants you to be healthy in every area of your life. God wants you to be healthy spiritually. God wants you to be healthy physically. God wants you to be healthy mentally. Read the rest of this entry
Faith Is… II
Hebrews 11:11 “Sarah, too, had faith… for she realized that God, who gave her his promise, would certainly do what he said.” (LB).
We know something will happen only when God says it will happen. Hebrews 11:11 “…Abraham trusted that God would keep his promise.” (GWT). Why did Abraham leave his home country and travel to a strange land? It is because God promised. Read the rest of this entry
Faith Is… I
Hebrews 11:1 “What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.” (LB, emphasis added).
Before we begin to look at growing our faith, let us first answer the question, what is faith? The first thing we need to realize about faith is that Faith Is Higher Than HOPE. Hope is wanting something to be that is not, and having no assurance that it will be. Read the rest of this entry

Calculate
Luke 14:28 “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?”
Live your life in such a way that you are underestimated. People underestimate me a lot and I love it. If you do not have your self-worth in place, when people underestimate you, you will feel insulted and feel you need to make a point. No, you do not. Read the rest of this entry
Think Big!
Matt. 17:20 “Because you’re not yet taking God seriously,” said Jesus. “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle.” (MSG)
God’s Word is loaded with promises and God wants us to look for them and build our lives on these promises. When we build our lives on God’s promises, our lives become stable. Regardless of the storms, our lives are consistent. Read the rest of this entry
Unwavering
Heb.10:23 “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”
We will kick off today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday which is, God always always always keeps His Word. God is not like us humans; we do not always keep our word. Sometimes we mean to keep our word, but we do not always get to keep our word. Read the rest of this entry
Will You?
John 5:4 “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” (KJV, emphasis added)
This was God’s way of showing the people that He wants them healed. Some people have argued that there was a spring, an underground supply of water that bubbled up and that is why the pool was bubbling and looked stirred. Read the rest of this entry
