Humble Bow

Philip.2:9 “Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!” (TPT).

What has God said to you? What are you doing? That is how you will know if humility is flowing, or you are cutting off the flow. In all my years of pastoring and counselling couples through marital issues, I cannot remember any party in the marriage admitting that it was his or her Read the rest of this entry

The Flow

Phillip.2:7-8 “But He poured Himself out to fill a vessel brand new; a servant in form and a man indeed. The very likeness of humanity, He humbled Himself, obedient to death— a merciless death on the cross!” (Voice).

Humility flows when we defer to our peers and our subordinates. Humility flows when we give up our privileges. Humility flows when we take a lower position. Humility flows when we choose to be vulnerable. Jesus models true humility to us. Read the rest of this entry

Citadel

Ps.91:1–2 “He who takes refuge in the shelter of the Most High will be safe in the shadow of the Almighty. He will say to the Eternal, “My shelter, my mighty fortress, my God, I place all my trust in You.” (Voice].

You need to learn to hide. This is so important, and every child must understand the weight of this truth. Hiding is not weakness; it is actually a strength. The value of your life is directly proportional to the quality of your hiding. Read the rest of this entry

Surrendered

James 5:17 (AMP) “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.”

Gal. 5:22-23 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (emphasis added). God’s Word is amazingly clear. Who produces the fruit? It is the Holy Spirit. We must remain yielded to Him. Read the rest of this entry

Implications II

Joshua 1:9 “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

God’s promise of New-Streams means we can expect New-Streams of colours and New-Streams of New-Wine. It is important to remember that the New Wine of the Holy Spirit, cannot be put in an old skin of the same way you have been behaving. Read the rest of this entry

Why, What & Where?

Isa.41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Why are you currently discouraged? When you drill down, you will discover truths that can help you learn from your discouragements. I have walked away from different deals, things that perhaps would have made me a billionaire by now. But because I see that the deal is going to give me a bad name, I will walk away from it. Speak Up!

Gal.6:2 (TLB) “Share each other’s troubles and problems, and so obey our Lord’s command.”

In addition to admitting how you feel, finding a safe place, and turning your attention to God. To cheer up when you are depressed, the fourth thing is, let someone know that you are hurting. The fourth point may be like the second point, Read the rest of this entry

The Manifestation

Isa.33:24 (NIV) No one living in Zion will say, “I am ill”; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven.”

Saul came into the company of prophets, and Saul not because he was a prophet, but because of the governing prophetic anointing, he began to prophesy. Read the rest of this entry

Champion?

Judges 6:12 “The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!”

I can imagine that Gideon was probably alarmed because what the Angel was saying was nothing close to what he could see with his own two eyes. Read the rest of this entry

ANew

Ps.18:20-24 (MSG) “God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him. When I got my act together, he gave me a fresh start… I feel put back together, and I’m watching my step. God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.”

Jesus hung on the cross, so you and I can stop hanging ourselves on the cross. Many of us blame ourselves for everything, stop it! When we embrace the finished work on the cross of Calvary, Read the rest of this entry
