Get Up!

Isa.60:1 (NCV) “…get up and shine, because your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines on you.”

To Arise means to get up, to come into notice, to originate from a source. To arise means to begin to exist. The story of some people is though they are alive, they are not existing. Read the rest of this entry

Eternally Sorted!

Ps.23:6 (NKJV) “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.”

Your God is more than enough. God is bigger than all your needs. God is more than enough to meet your eternal needs. In Psalm 23, David shows us clearly that God is more than enough to meet our eternal needs. Read the rest of this entry

Valley Plan

Ps.23:4 (NKJV) “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…” [with emphasis]

The valley looks like death, it is a shadow, but it is not death. You may think that situation is going to kill you or that you have come to the end. But it will not kill you and it is not the end. Read the rest of this entry

Stop Running!

Eze.34:2 “…Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep4 You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost…” [with emphasis].

If God is your shepherd, you cannot be stranded. Will you have tough times, times where you need to dig in and dig deep? Of cause. But you will never be stranded. Read the rest of this entry

Ps.23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” [NKJV, with emphasis]

His Voice

Ps.29:3 “The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty sea. 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.”

Ask, Seek, Knock

Luke 11:9 “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

The Bible says, “everyone who asks, receives, everyone who seeks, finds, and to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened”.  These are the words of Jesus Himself, your case will not be different. Read the rest of this entry

1 Kings 3:11 “…Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies— 12 I will give you what you asked for… 13 And I will also give you what you did not ask for—riches and fame…”

Deeper

Ex.33:14 “The Lord replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” 15 Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. 16 How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me…”

What do you really want out of your walk with God – results or relationship, His hand or His face? It will shock you but the reason some people do not want to have a relationship with God is because they do not want responsibilities. Read the rest of this entry
