The Answer
2 Kings 4:2-3 “What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied. And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbours”

We have been looking at Jesus’ intent, Jesus’ question, and Phillip’s response for the past few days because there is so much to learn as it relates to our walk with God, to leadership, and to relationships with people. Two of Four
John 5:44 “No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honour each other, but you don’t care about the honour that comes from the one who alone is God.”
Jesus shows us four different kinds of testimony that validate Him, called The Four-Fold Witness.

The Mirror
John 4:7&9 “Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.” The woman was surprised, for Jews refuse to have anything to do with Samaritans…”
Why did the Jews refuse to have anything to do with Samaritans? We began to answer this question yesterday and it will interest you to know that the enmity ran even deeper. Heart

There are some things you will say that you think they have forgotten, but they are holding it. Then when you are at your lowest point, they will use it against you. Like Mary
John 2:3-5 “The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.” “Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.” But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Mary was an executionist. Yesterday we said there are four types of people around us and we are also one of these four. The pessimist, the optimist, the analyst, and the executionist. God wants us to be executionists, people that step up and get things done despite the prevailing negativity. Read the rest of this entry
