Realization 101
Rom.12:18 (NIV)”If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” [with emphasis]
God does not want us to be difficult people in the lives of those we are doing life with. Some of us may have a propensity towards being demanding, or we are prone to being disagreeable, or being defensive, or prone to be demeaning. In that case, it is time to stop today and realign with Christ. Read the rest of this entry
Next Level
Rom.12:18 (NIV) “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” [with emphasis]
We are on a journey with God and the destination is thriving at work. However, even though the thrust in this season is on work, you will notice that God is challenging us beyond our work life. He is challenging us to our core on certain areas in our lives. I am trusting that God Himself will change our lives and take us to the next level in our businesses, in our careers and in our relationships, in Read the rest of this entry
Turn From Sin!
Luke 5:8 “When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m too much of a sinner to be around you” [with emphasis]
As with a lot of things in God, kneeling down is deeply significant and symbolic. In God’s Presence, the first reason why we kneel is in pursuit and the second reason is we kneel in Repentance. The yoke and weight of sin can be really heavy. But when we kneel in repentance, it’s sorted out.
Victor, Victoria!
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” [NIV, with emphasis]
Jesus says in this world you will have tribulation but you are not without hope. So be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world. What this means for us is that through Jesus we too will overcome the world. Characteristically, trials are inevitable, of different types, impartial and they are unpredictable. Crisis is unpredictable. Matt.8:24 “Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping”. The storm came without warning. Crisis just happens and it happens without any Read the rest of this entry
God’s Power
Matt.5:45 “…For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.”
It is so unfortunate that a lot of people have bought into the lie that once you become a Christian, all your problems will go away. Have you heard that before? It is a big lie! Your life and my life are proof that that is not the gospel. That is a gospel but not The Gospel. You are going to have the same problems everyone else has. However, the difference is that you are going to have God’s power to deal with the problems as they arise. You are going to feel fear, anger, depression, insecurity; but you are going to have God’s power to deal with Read the rest of this entry
Take Action II
Ex.17: 11 “It happened that whenever Moses raised his hand, the battle went well for Israel; but whenever he lowered his hand to rest, Amalek began to win”.” [Voice, with emphasis].
Moses took action. The enemy has spoken negativity concerning you and you are saying perhaps they do not mean it? Do yourself a favour and respond. There are two types of responses demonstrated in Exodus 17:8-13 [please read] that I want us to learn from: a. the tactical response and b. the strategic response. Yesterday I shared an experience with you of a deliverance session initiated by God and how I became ill afterwards. Going to the hospital was a tactical response and setting up my watch in the place of prayer, was a Read the rest of this entry
Keep Pushing!
“Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on water towards Jesus” Matt.14:28-29
Miracles happen outside of your comfort zone. Sometimes, people experience God leading them in certain directions in their finances. Directions that force you to question the leading and you think, God, are You leading me to do this? You hear people ask questions like, how can God ask me to give my all? Do you know how long I have waited for this break through? It is because the miraculous happens only outside your comfort zone.
Plan For It III
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2 [KJV, emphasis added]
God wants you to prosper; He is clear in His Word so settle it in your heart. The question is what can possibly go wrong in your finances, for instance? The worst possible thing that could happen is getting to zero [bankruptcy]. You need to think about it. Then answer this question, what can be done to make sure it never happens? I have thought about it and I have put things in place to ensure I never borrow again in my life.

“Philip said, ‘Lord show us the Father…’ Jesus answered, ‘Don’t you know me, Philip? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” John 14:8-9
The quest for God has been on for a while. “Philip said, ‘Lord show us the Father…’ Jesus answered, ‘Don’t you know me, Philip? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” So if you want to know the Father, look at Jesus. And this is love that God is a Person and not a power. A lot of us can relate to God as a power, some force that can do stuff. God has power but God is a person. And that is so Read the rest of this entry
