Be Aware I
Ps.104:3 “You lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds. You make the clouds your chariot; you ride upon the wings of the wind. 4 The winds are your messengers; flames of fire are your servants”
2 Kings 6:15 “When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha. Elisha said something very significant. 2 Kings 6:16 “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” [with emphasis]. If I were that man I would have said, “Sir, it is just you and me standing here and the armies outside are in their hundreds. How can you say there are more on our side?”
The Power
Rom.4:17 “…Abraham believed in the God… 18 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” [with emphasis]
Abraham kept hoping even when everything was speaking contrary- his body was speaking contrary, his wife’s body was speaking contrary, and even his culture was speaking contrary. Abraham’s friends must have had a field day mocking him, – from Abram [exalted father] to Abraham [father of nations] and still no children; he must have been the subject of every joke.
Even though everything was speaking contrary, Abraham believed and maintained a single line of command. If God has said it Read the rest of this entry
Single Minded
Ex.17:10 Joshua did exactly as Moses had instructed him to do…[Voice] 13 As a result, Joshua overwhelmed the army of Amalek in battle [NLT, with emphasis]
In your business, maintain a single line of command. In your home, it must be a single line of command. In your life, it must be a single line of command. Joshua could have challenged Moses instruction, “Why do I have to be the one to risk getting killed on the battle field? Let us switch places, you go and fight and give me the rod of God and I will stand on the mountain.” But who determined the victory, was it Joshua’s militancy or Moses on the hill? Aaron and Hur could have said to Moses, “Now that your hands are tired, it Read the rest of this entry
Query
Prov.8:9 “My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge”
I can be very curious; so I love asking questions and I like people who ask questions. I am not talking about foolish questions, or arrogant questions, or questions posed just to show off what the person thinks he or she knows. Jesus had a number of such people showing up at His gatherings. One asked: if seven brothers had married the same woman at different seasons and they had died and gone to heaven, whose wife will the woman be in heaven? Jesus told him that his question reveals his foolishness because there is Read the rest of this entry
The Priesthood
Rev.5:10 “And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth”
To go forward, the first thing you must do is to build your body, the temple of the Holy Spirit. The priesthood sustains the temple and the priesthood is based on repetition. This means that the duties of a priest are repetitive. It is almost like a list of what to do daily and at different times of the day. So, for you to take care of your temple there are things you have to do repetitively. And whether you like it or not, whether you feel like it or not, you have to be consistent at doing these things.
Instrument
1 Sam.3:19 “As Samuel grew up, the Lord was with him, and everything Samuel said proved to be reliable.”
Samuel encountered God and the very next day he had to take a stand for God. 1 Sam.3:15 “Samuel stayed in bed until morning, then got up and opened the doors of the Tabernacle as usual. He was afraid to tell Eli what the Lord had said to him. 16 But Eli called out to him, “Samuel, my son.” “Here I am,” Samuel replied. 17 “What did the Lord say to you? Tell me everything. And may God strike you and even kill you if you hide anything from me!” So Samuel told Eli everything God told him; God was chastising Eli on his Read the rest of this entry
Leadership
Deut.11:18 “So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 19 Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road…”
Our lesson today is from the life of Samuel, Hannah’s son. Hannah had a deal with God; He would give her a son and she will give the son back to God to serve God. And that was exactly what happened. God gave her Samuel and immediately she weaned him, she dedicated him to God and dropped him off at the temple. You can imagine how young the boy was but she actually left him in the temple with Eli. She would visit him from time to time to give him new clothes. When you dedicate your children to God, believe that Read the rest of this entry
You Can!
Mk.11:24 “I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.”
What makes prayer sweet? How do we enjoy the sweet hour of prayer? How do we come into God’s Presence and leave wanting more? Over the next few days, we will be engaging the power of prayer, the pattern of prayer, the privilege of prayer and the pleasures of prayer. When we experience these four P’s, we will discover that prayer is really sweet. Read the rest of this entry

Deut.23:14 “The camp must be holy, for the Lord your God moves around in your camp to protect you and to defeat your enemies. He must not see any shameful thing among you, or he will turn away from you.”
The twelfth cause of curses is contact with an accursed thing. Josh.7:1 “But Israel violated the instructions about the things set apart for the Lord. A man named Achan had stolen some of these dedicated things, so the Lord was very angry with the Israelites. Achan was the son of Carmi, a descendant of Zimri son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah.” There are certain things that are accursed, they are infested with demons, and if you take them into your home you are attracting those gods and those demons into your home. The truth Read the rest of this entry
Over-Turn It!
Gen.32:24 “…But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” 28 “Your name will no longer be Jacob,” the man told him. “From now on you will be called Israel, because you have fought with God and with men and have won.””
Joseph had a dream – he saw the sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowing to him. Israel said, you mean that your mother and I will bow down to you? And Israel changed it. Check – everyone bowed to Joseph apart from Israel. In fact, Israel lived to bless Joseph and his children. If he did not change it, he would have had to prostrate before Joseph because it had been written. Take the example of Job; there were discussions going on about Job but he could not listen in and so he could not change it. Job cried out, “I wish I had a man Read the rest of this entry
